Whether you are an exhibitor, amateur rider or just starting out, AHJA is the perfect place for you to begin riding. Both children and adults ride in our competitions and ribbons are awarded to riders in each class. At the end of the year a banquet is held where final awards are presented. Great people, great fun and the love of horses characterize this organization.

It’s time to renew your AHJA membership!

Renewals can be done online or at any AHJA local rated show.

The owner listed on the entry and riders must be an AHJA member for any points to count!

Don’t show on our local rated circuit? No problem! Join for our rated circuit. We are happy to have many showing opportunities for our USEF members.

Members also have access to our educational opportunities, scholarships, and community events produced by our junior board!

We were happy to present the Fig Street’s Duchess Perpetual Trophy this past weekend! This trophy will go to the winner of the $2500 Hunter Derby at the Year End Show.

The inaugural winner was Kendall Woodring riding Schroeder (owned by BJ Brown).

Congratulations are in order!

Big congratulations to our small, but mighty, HHF team. We had a wonderful first official season showing with the . Congratulations to the following horse and rider pairs:

3rd Place🥉: .85 Meter Jumper
Congratulations on their final season in the show ring together.

Keaton Simmons and The Great Gatsby
3rd Place🥉: .65 Meter Jumper
4th Place: Short Stirrup Equitation
6th Place: Short Stirrup Hunter
Round of applause for this duo. What a success for Keaton’s first season in the hunters and equitation and Gatsby’s first season back in the show ring after 5 years. We are so proud of you!

One last big congratulations to our team. Thank you to all who have supported us in the 2024 season. See y’all at Kick Off in February!

AHJA Banquet…celebrating the 2024 show season! 🤩🐴 Lots of ribbons and lots of trophies!! Way to go everyone! Missing some of the crew, who received ribbons as well. Always excited for a new season to set some new goals! Here we come 2025!

“We either win or we learn” 👏🏻🏆

Last night we celebrated a wonderful 2024 AHJA and USEF show season! Congratulations to our riders for all of their accomplishments!

🏆 Jane Ellen King and Sailor’s Delight: Reserve Champion USEF Green Pony Hunters, Reserve Champion Regular Pony Medal, 4th place USEF Regular Pony Hunter, 3rd place AHJA Regular Pony Hunter, and 5th place Schooling Pony Hunter! They also won the Carousel Tack Shoppe Small Pony Hunter Trophy!!

🏆 Emma Threlkeld and Demitasse were CHAMPIONS of the Pre Children/Adult Hunters, Reserve Champions in Modified Hunter, and 6th in the Pre Child/Adult Equitation!

🏆 Samantha Higgins and Rio’s Ballerina W were 3rd in Schooling Hunter, 5th in the Pre Children’s/Adult Hunters, and a very close 3rd in the Pre Child/Adult Equitation division!

🏆 Willa Bear Akins and Van D’Ark won CHAMPION honors in the AHJA Hunters, Junior/AO, Junior Medal, and the USEF Junior Hunters!

🏆Scarlet Akins and FHF Pippapotamus were CHAMPION in Starting Hunter, 3rd in the Short Stirrup Equitation, and 3rd in Short Stirrup Hunter!

🏆 Grace Owens and Glassview’s Party Boy were Reserve Champions in Starting Hunter, Reserve Champions in Short Stirrup Equitation, and 4th in Short Stirrup Hunter!

🏆 Regan McLean and Abba Cadabra were CHAMPIONS in the 8 & under Walk/Trot Hunter & Equitation divisions!

🏆 Peyton Ludwick and Hello Dolly were 4th in the 8 & under Walk/Trot Hunter and Equitation divisions only showing in a handful of shows!

🏆 Jodee Cole and Cashmere won 5th place in Long Stirrup Hunter and 6th Place in Long Stirrup Equitation in very few shows!

🏆 Chloe Langswager and Odelia had limited showing this year but deserves recognition for being just out of the ribbons in several divisions! She came along to support her team at the banquet anyway which makes her a winner in our eyes! 👏🏻

🏆 Grace Humber and her horses Redemption HVF and Cartier had a successful show season with Hidden Hills Equestrian Center! They won countless top placings and finished her junior career on a high note! 🎉

Thank you to our incredible team and barn family for all you contributed last year! We look forward to the 2025 season! 🐴
