FOX 4 News made one of the sweetest low riders their PET OF THE DAY this Monday!Lolo has been waiting for her forever family for 9 months and promises that once you meet her you’ll have no idea how a dog like this could be waiting so long! On Monday, she got to trot herself right into the studio without any hesitation. She greeted all of the staff and news guests that walked by with her tail never slowing down. She is 2-3 yrs old and ~40 lbs. She has very interesting squatty legs that make her look basset hound like but sadly her ears have been cropped so we don’t know what they would have looked like. She is currently being fostered by a doggie daycare Houndstown-Western Hills and loves to play all day long with her canine friends.Are you interested in meeting this amazing dog? 🌨 Meet Eira, Our Snowy Survivor! ❄️
Little Eira is just a puppy, but her journey has already been a tough one. She arrived at the shelter with severe eye damage, and life in the shelter wasn’t the place for this sweet girl to start her story. Thankfully, her foster mom couldn’t bear the thought of her spending her puppy days there.
Named Eira, which means “snow” in Welsh, this brave pup is now warm, safe, and loved. She recently underwent emergency surgery, giving her a permanent wink but also a fresh start.
Eira’s story isn’t over, and she still needs your help to cover the costs of her care and healing. Every donation goes toward giving her the happy, healthy life she deserves.

⏰ Doritos Locos Taco was rescued just 30 minutes before his time was up. Now, he needs your help to heal.
This sweet boy came to us as a stray, bearing the scars of a tough life. Puncture wounds on his back legs, likely from an attack, have left him battling a painful bone infection. We’re doing everything we can to save his leg with heavy antibiotics, but if his condition doesn’t improve, amputation may be his only option.

🐾 🚨 Emergency Medical Support Needed🚨 🐾
Zeus is one of our PASS fosters, part of our Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender program. His mom made the courageous choice to escape a domestic violence situation, but it left her without a safe place for Zeus. That’s when we stepped in to make sure Zeus had a temporary foster home until his family could be together again. Thankfully our training partner Boss Babe Dog Training, LLC stepped in to be that temporary home for Zeus.
Recently, Zeus just hasn’t been himself. He’s been pacing, struggling to get comfortable, and looking to us for help. Last night, he took a sudden turn, and we rushed him to our emergency vet, where we learned he has congestive heart failure. His heart and abdomen are filling with fluid, and the initial bill has already reached $3,000. Zeus is now on medication to drain the fluid, but he’ll need ongoing care for any chance of stability.
We’re doing everything we can to keep him comfortable, but Zeus’s fight is just beginning, and we need your help to give him the care he deserves. Please consider donating—every little bit helps keep this sweet boy safe and loved. Keep fighting, Zeus. 💙 #HelpZeus

DFW Pets Are Family is coming up on 11/16!
DFW Pets Are Family is a drive-thru event for families in need to receive free pet food, vaccinations & more for their dogs and cats.
We're teaming up again with DFW organizations to provide essential support to local pet families in need - keeping them together and ensuring loved pets stay in their homes and out of the shelter!
With the next event just over a week away, the need for support has never been greater. We are expecting a record turnout, and we must ensure we have the necessary supplies to meet the demand.
