Please remember to exercise your dog early morning or evening/night during these hot and humid temperature. Always check the pavement before taking walks. This is not only important midday, but also in the evening when the Sun has been 'baking' the ground all day.
Patios, decks (especially composite decking) can get very hot, as can outdoor rugs made of nylon.
As always, fresh water is a must!

This sweet boy is not just good looking—he's also a well-mannered companion. Rowdy excels on the leash, making walks a joyous experience, and he adores accompanying his humans on car rides. His affectionate nature shines through as he eagerly gives kisses and carries his favorite toys around in his mouth, always ready for playtime.

Rowdy's love for food is evident in his enthusiasm for training and his unwavering attention during mealtime. He's extremely food motivated, making him a quick learner who has already mastered commands like sit with ease. His talkative nature adds to his charm, as he happily engages in conversation, especially if it involves discussing his favorite treats. Rowdy came to us from a local shelter and at just 3 years old, is eagerly awaiting his Adoption Day.

Social and outgoing, Rowdy gets along famously with other doggies and is always eager to make new friends. He's a true extrovert who thrives on interaction and companionship. With his fondness for carrots, squeaky stuffed animal toys, and bones, Rowdy is ready to bring endless joy and laughter to his furever home as the ultimate companion doggie!

It has come to our attention that representatives from ASPCA are fundraising in the Greensboro and Winston-Salem area. We received complaints on Saturday night regarding the disrespectful and aggressive behavior an individual was displaying in the name of fundraising.

As a reminder, the ASPCA doesn't give any money to the SPCA of the Triad or donate money back to our community. The ASPCA does not represent the SPCA of the Triad and our employees, volunteers, donors, adopters, fosters, business partners, sponsors, and Board of Directors.

We are sorry for any confusion this causes, and we believe it's unfortunate the ASPCA would allow their representatives to behave unprofessionally.

SPCA of the Triad has been and continues to be a critical resource to our community. We value and respect the relationships we build with our individual donors, foundations, event sponsors, business partners, volunteers, adopters, fosters, and social media followers. We do not engage in these fundraising tactics or walk the streets in our community asking for help.
