FEEDING GUIDELINES for the LAMINITIC HORSE
Soaked hay is the best form of forage for a laminitic horse. You should aim to supply up to 2% of your horse’s body weight.
Limit turnout to 1-2 hours per day avoiding late morning to mid afternoon when the sugar in grass will be at its highest.
