Watch out for these common pitfalls when teaching the stay command:
🐕 Do not give the stay command with food in your hand.
🐕 Do not always call your dog to come to you from a stay. This will cause him to anticipate a recall. Practice by leaving your dog and returning to him before giving the release word.

Jumping
When Puppies greet people by jumping up, it can be so cute but as they get bigger, they can hurt people, especially children or the elderly. It’s important to address jumping as soon as possible before it becomes a habit.
Here are a few easy solutions:
🐶Reward your dog for alternative greetings with treats, toys, praise and affection
🐶Ignore the jumping, do not give it any attention
🐶Don’t greet your dog until they are calm and all 4 feet are on the ground
