Jan 2018 City runs the park now & open from dawn to dusk. Project Dog Park is the official organization which worked to establish an off-leash dog park in Galesburg, Illinois. In June 2014, the Connie Nott Canine Area was opened in Inbinder Park (1285 W. Carl Sandburg Drive) on land which was generously donated by the City of Galesburg. Through special events and fundraising activities, Project Do

g Park strived to develop the first leash-free dog park in the area. Charitable contributions from the local community along with the hard work of a few people donating their time, physical labor and money, made this dog park possible for our community. To use the dog park, all dogs have to be registered with the City of Galesburg - both residents and non-residents pay the same annual fee for a city tag. Day passes for city visitors are available at City Clerk's office. "We love the dog park! Our Dakota is the lab. She met Maggie and we meet regularly. Today they met Nick, an Aussie Doodle who is blind. It was amazing to watch them interact with him. Dakota and Maggie played with him but first thing our Dakota did was walk in and lie beside him ❤️🐾"
We are so lucky to have a dog park like this in our town for all our pups!! Woof! Woof! 🐾
