Coppertone is an outstanding TRAIL companion. He has many amazing attributes, that make the deepest partnership. A lot of care and consideration will be taken to find him the perfect new owner. He is brave, steady, great endurance, unflappable on the trails and arena. Started the right way, slow and steady. Unlike a lot of horses he also loves Arena work, side passes both ways, leg yields both directions, both at the walk and in gait. Shoulder in, haunches in. Loves horse camping, he loves spending time with his humans. The heart of a LION, with a motor of a Ferrari, all in control and mindful of his rider. Ride ba****ck, hobbles, high lines, stands to be mounted, stump trained, sure footed, pony green colts, excellent ground manners, road ride, he is sound, used to 4 wheelers, tractors, Elk, Deer, loves attention, will follow you into the house, can sit for weeks and be the same horse, no vices, any level rider enjoys him.
Coppertone comes running to the gate when called (like a puppy), trained to side over to any object to mount. Comes from a distance at liberty. Excellent trailer manners, Farrier loves him, Very agile and does well in extreme terrain. He is great with dogs, water, bikes, traffic, tractors. Very smooth gaits, his rack feels like flying. No trail obstacle stands in his way. Jump on him with a hay string, ride him back to the gate. He is gorgeous, charming, friendly, & easy-going. Enjoys being fussed over & brushed. Never been lame, unsound or ill. Rides in Bosal or bit. Coppertone’s CANTER is like flying!
We prefer potential soul mates to spend at least a few days with us, more if you can make the time, so that we can see whether it is a good match-up.
We only offer a couple horses a year and each one is trained as our own personal horse.
