Yesterday took an unfortunate turn for our family and Blaze. Blaze was in labor for some time and we ended up taking her to the vet where they confirmed there was only one puppy. It was very large, and that she would not be able to pass it on her own. Unfortunately, the puppy didn’t make it💔. They deemed it in her best interest to do a c-section to remove the pup and also spay her to avoid future complications as she shouldn’t be bred again. This puts an end to her litters, and not an end we could have seen coming. Blaze is tired and sore, but doing well overall and is home recovering. We are so thankful she’s ok. We have had so much joy with the 3 litters she had. It’s been such a great experience for our family to do together. Thank you all for going on this journey with us! To brighten things up we would love to see pics in the comments from any of her previous litters 🖤
