More than 3,500 homeless dogs and cats will turn to the Pet Alliance for caring, compassion, and hope through our animal shelte

rs this year. Our highly skilled veterinarians will help and heal an additional 30,000 animals in our veterinary clinics. Providing shelter for animals in crisis, disaster response efforts, and pet food pantry for dogs and cats in need, we will help thousands of additional animals this year.

Check out this glow up! 🐱🪄

5-year-old Minino had been living outdoors in a community where pets weren't allowed inside, surviving on table scraps from well-meaning residents. He was brought to us with hopes for a fresh start, but would first need to overcome an upper respiratory infection and sarcoptic mange, also known as scabies.

After a few weeks in foster care receiving treatment for his ailments, Minino has made a miraculous transformation and is finally ready to find a home of his very own! He loves scratching cardboard, mealtime, and all the other lovely amenities that his new life indoors has offered.

Hey there, can you please take a moment to tell Deuces how snazzy he looks in his sweater? 🤩

Though he has a very distinguished old man face, this suave gentleman is only 5 years old! Deuces has been in our care for a little over a month and while it's been wonderful getting to know him, he's overdue for a home of his own.

Along with being a people-lover, this laid-back guy has lived with cats and other dogs before. He's a fan of leisurely walks and heavy duty chew toys. Plus, he responds to commands like sit, down, and place!

Hours before these frigid conditions overtook Central Florida, seven kittens were surrendered to our Downtown Orlando cat shelter. 🥶

The youngsters did a remarkable job surviving in the great outdoors, however, most of them are fighting upper respiratory infections and two are now undergoing treatment for sarcoptic mange, otherwise known as scabies.

We're grateful to provide a place for these kittens out of the cold and are excited to see them off to their foster homes today. We're sure some cozy accommodations, along with their medical treatments, will have them feeling better in no time!

Pet Alliance is proud to present our latest program offering, puppy training classes! 🐾

In each six week course, puppies ages 2-6 months will master behaviors like sit, coming when called, stay, and more! Puppies will also have the chance to learn valuable social skills by participating in supervised interactions with other members of their class. Our expert trainer will be there every step of the way to answer any questions and help you through those potty-training and separation anxiety growing pains.

She's a queen, she's clean, she's ✨forklift certified!✨

Meet Odessa! This multitalented 2-year-old came to us all the way from the Cayman Islands and proves that you do not need opposable thumbs to be successful when operating heavy machinery.

When she's not moving bulky items with her beloved forklift, Odessa spends her free time taking leisurely walks, simply tolerating the presence of other dogs, and gazing into the souls of all who dare to make eye contact with her.

Pet Alliance's first 5K fundraiser was a festive success! 🏃‍♀️🦌🏃‍♂️🦌

On December 14, we joined the Greg Warmoth Reindeer Run Presented by AdventHealth for Children as a charity partner through Track Shack's Community Awareness Race Entry Program. 35 participants registered to benefit our organization, resulting in $1,785 raised for our shelter pets!

We hope everyone who walked, ran, or strolled enjoyed their jolly jaunt through SeaWorld Orlando, especially the cookies after the finish line!

All the love for 12-year-old Ryat! 🧡

We'd like to thank Adriana for crafting such a heartfelt card for this sweet senior resident. Ryat came into our care after his previous owner passed away and has spent the past month searching for a fresh start.

You know we adore our seniors, so we don't have to tell you that Ryat is just a perfect little gentleman... But we will! He is as friendly and inquisitive as they come and would be perfectly comfortable on just about anyone's lap.

Ryat is positive for Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and while these cats are fully capable of living long and healthy lives, we do ask that he be the only cat in the home or be adopted into a household with other FIV+ cats, as there is a risk of transmission.

If you're interested in bringing Ryat home for the paw-lidays, come visit him and his snazzy room door decor at our Sanford shelter!
