Courtesy Post! Need to find a forever home for sweet senior kitty Mercedes. She has had a terrible rash of bad luck within the past year and a half. First her feline sister died, then six months later her human daddy died, then eight months after that (a few days ago), her new mommy died. Now she finds herself alone again and looking for someone who will love her and give her a nice quiet, comfy home. No other pets or kids, please. She is 13 years old and is on some medication. This is Mason. Although his brother and sister have always been Churu treat fans, Mason would always stay at a distance and watch Cinder and Tommy enjoy their treat. Their enthusiasm didn’t encourage Mason to try it. 🤷‍♀️ Even the vet thought it was unusual for a kitten to not like Churu! Yesterday the kittens had their second FVRCP shot. Still no enthusiasm from Mason when we arrived home and the kittens received their treat. Then this morning, after breakfast, when the other two were on my lap getting their dessert who jumps up but little Mason, who nuzzles his nose into the Churu and is now converted. A good reason for the love of Churu treats is because it’s a great way to administer meds to cats and kittens. Mason is up-to-date on his shots and will be neutered within a couple weeks. If you’re interested in adopting him, please go to our website and complete an application. Mason is about 3 1/2 months old and weighs 3.6 pounds. 😁

Mason is brother to Cinder and Tommy, all of whom were born to a mom who was unable to nurse them. A wonderful bottle baby foster mom taught them love and trust from the time the three siblings were just days old. Now with another foster, Mason is getting ready for his forever home. He has the prettiest fur pattern with tabby markings on a white background. He’s a little bit more standoffish than the other two siblings, and does not care for the Churu treats even when Cinder and Tommy are gobbling them with gusto. Mason either climbs to the very top of a large cat tree to take a nap, or snoozes on the recliner, snuggled up in blankets. He’s often the first one out for fun, but often likes to be the observer of the wrestling matches. Tommy is one of three kittens born to mom, Fluffy, who was unable to nurse them. A wonderful bottle baby foster mom taught them love and trust from the time the three siblings were just days old. Tommy will be a medium-haired gorgeous black-and-white cat when he grows up. Right now his hair is a little bit like Bed Head. He’s probably the shyest of the siblings, but was the first to jump up on the foster mom’s lap. The first to purr. He loves to wrestle with sister Cinder. Tommy is a talker. Tommy will stand by the door and remind the foster mom when it’s time to eat. Or when he wants playtime. Or when he just wants attention. Or when a brother gets a little rough with him during a wrestling match…

Cinder is one of three kittens born to mom, Fluffy, who was unable to nurse them. A wonderful bottle baby foster mom taught them love and trust from the time the three siblings were just days old. It was such an important part of their life. Cinder is confident with her brothers and can hold her own when wrestling. She loves the laser pointer and will scramble after it from one end of the room to the other. Occasionally she’ll sleep with one of her brothers, but generally naps on top of the smaller cat tree. She will reach her paws up to grab a hold of the churu treat, and will allow about 10 seconds of cuddling at a time before she wiggles off your lap to join her brothers on one of their toy adventures. She loves batting little balls around the floor. One of her cutest behaviors is that she will jump in the litter box after her brothers use it and make sure that everything is covered very well. She had her vet visit today, and is healthy and doing extremely well for her age. Introducing Cinder, Mason and Tommy. They’re currently a little over two months old and will be ready for adoption in another few weeks. All three are healthy, active, cuddlebugs and are getting ready for the next chapter of their life. We will have more about their adorable personalities soon. 😺

Folks, we need your support!

We have taken in several kittens in the last week. 8 to be exact and we need your help in getting them vetted and adopted into their FOREVER homes! The most recent rescue is 3 babies from one litter and another who was tossed out of a moving vehicle on Hwy 674!!! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THESE PRECIOUS BABIES, help us with medical costs and supplies!
