😩 Our pet food pantry is empty.

Not only do we need food for the 4 saved dogs arriving this weekend...
..but our free pet food pantry distributes food to struggling pet parents in 3-4 different locations every month...

💙 There are two ways to help 💙

💙 Locally, drop off donations of wet and dry cat and dog food The Bark Yard in South Portland....

💙 Non-locally, check our donation link and Chewy wishlist to mail donations of wet and dry cat and dog food....

Join us for our LOW-COST Rabies Clinic! Hosted by the YCCC Vet Tech Club and the Wells Police Department Animal Control.
WHEN: Saturday, April 20th from 9 AM - NOON
WHERE: YCCC, 112 College Drive, Wells, Maine 04090
WHO: Any dog or cat over the age of 3 months old
COST: $10 Per Animal (CASH ONLY)
All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. This is a student-run event and we reserve the right to decline vaccinating if pets show signs of aggression, including but not limited to growling, hissing, or lunging.

Spay/neuter clinic in North Augusta. This clinic often has Help Fix ME vouchers for cats and grant money to help with dog spay/neuter.

Prices include surgery, vaccines and some extras. No pre visit required. Physical exam is given on the day of surgery. Call: 207-480-1001. Located at 231 Old Belgrade Rd, Augusta.

Note: to qualify for Help Fix ME vouchers or assistance with dogs you must receive food stamps, TANF, SSI,SSDI or have an income less than 133% of the federal poverty level.

Prices without vouchers, no income limit-- some extras included:
Cat spay $130, Neuter $110
Dogs, depend on weight:
$275 for small dogs, to $500 for dog over 90 lbs
