Ronit Corry is a Dog Whisperer, Dog Behaviorist and Dog Trainer in Santa Barbara, CA specializing in difficult and aggressive dogs, separation anxiety, fear, nervousness and leash pulling. Ronit's goal is to bring calmness and balance to every dog and to teach you how to do the same. Ronit offers dog training, dog whispering, dog walking and Alexander Technique for animals. Ronit Corry is trained

in the methods of Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer, having studied his methods for 8 years and graduating from Training Cesar's Way in April 2013. Ronit trained with The Animal Communicator Anna Breytenbach, as well as Jon Young, in Intuitive Communication and Tracking. Ronit is a Senior Teacher of The Alexander Technique for more than 23 years (gentle hands-on work for humans and animals) and has excellent results with old, stiff jointed, fearful, nervous or grouchy animals. Animals become calm and relaxed, joints are eased and movement becomes youthful. Testimonials:

I can't believe the change in Tolly. He knew exactly what he was supposed to do. He's not barking at the back window or at the front door. You're right, it's like you woke something in him which he knew felt right. I also needed a refresher. I can't thank you enough! Hannah, Montreal, Canada

Ronit has an extraordinary gift with animals. I couldn't believe the change in my 15 year old dog Ruby. Her stiffness went away, she looked younger and was much more playful! Elizabeth, Montecitounger and was much more playful! Elizabeth, Montecito

This is very important for the dog’s closure.

Of course, but some of us need to be reminded about the great benefits of walking with our dogs!

Heading outside with your dog can help you start moving. People who walk their dogs are over 2.5 times as likely to achieve moderate-intensity physical activity,

Theses pups are a few of our Green and Blue dogs waiting to go on a foster adventure with you (SB Shelter). You can foster for a few hours, a weekend or longer! We provide all the supplies, medical and support that you need to take a green or blue dog home. Just stop by one of our shelters between 12:00pm -4:00pm or click the link in our bio to learn more about our foster programs and to sign up to foster. We will be happy to match you up with a pup that fits your profile.

So, If you were looking to help our Santa Maria and Santa Barbara animal shelters get through our ANIMAL SHELTER CRISIS, - here it is! Our Santa Maria and Santa Barbara Shelter is in DESPERATE need of and we especially need fosters with dog experience! But more than anything, we need people committed to helping an animal in need! So let’s start with the Green and Blue Dogs.

We have Green dogs that are easier to handle and these dogs have been on day fosters or foster. So we know a lot about them. If you are looking for an easy foster ask for a green dog.

Blue dogs are similar to our green dogs but might need a little training. If you are ok with fostering a dog that needs a little help settling into your home, ask for a blue dog.

Additionally, we are seeking foster homes that can take in a solo pet! We have so many dogs living at our Santa Maria and Santa Barbara Shelters for no other reason than they cannot live with other pets, or may need slow introductions to new people, or taught proper leash skills. While these may make a dog's initial introduction more challenging, all of these behaviors are manageable, and we have an experienced team here to support you.

Really enjoying this. Fascinating to watch the relationship between humans and dogs and particularly of working dogs!

Our Santa Maria shelter is OUT of big dog kennels and dogs are moving into staff offices to make space. If you can foster for a couple weeks or longer, that would make a significant impact for not only your foster dog, but the others in the facility.

We have so many wonderful dogs and a variety of breeds! A number of our pups are even playgroup rockstars and would likely benefit from a home with other dogs.

If you can ADOPT please come in this weekend! If you can FOSTER, please come in or contact our foster coordinator at the link below!

There is a fascinating class starting online tomorrow, which I completed earlier in the year. Carla Montagno is a Trager teacher who has worked out how to help animals with paralysis in their limbs. It's a very simple technique that works extremely well. She uses it on rescued possums, cats, dogs, porcupines, etc. The class is $50 and here is the link (you don't have to be a body worker):
