I will be booking into September but will be taking time off moving forward.

I am in the process of reevaluating my work. I will always work with dogs but maybe not necessarily as a trainer.

I am looking into becoming a Canine Massage Therapist so that I can share calming relaxing energy with dogs in need of rehabilitation and comfort.

Since Canine Kisses moved out of state, we asked around and found Nicole. The reviews from clients were enough to want me to share with other clients about this amazing groomer, but I had to try her out with my boy, for myself before officially referring to her. This is how I give my Spencer his many daily pills. This seems to be what works right now and even though this is not the food of choice for my dogs, it’s exciting enough for him to want to eat it. He’s allergic to many foods so he has been on a strict diet but with his cancer, we decided to give him whatever works. He’s on allergy meds so if he has some itchies from it, I would think he thinks it worth it. ❤️

If you have daily meds to give your dog, give this a try. Bucky’s not mad about getting the remains either. Haha.

We expect so much of our animals and they give us so much in return. But, do we ever thank them? I do! Daily! Don’t get my wrong, I haven’t been doing this for as long as I’ve had them because, frankly, I just saw something about how important it is so I do it. So, please tell your animals “hi and thank you” from me. Thank you! 🐾❤️🐶

This is my amazing client, Sophia with her two boys, Beowulf and Berto, with her sweet toddler in the stroller. Sophia is also 38 weeks pregnant and is able to help her dogs adjust to her needs by walking on each side of the stroller. She is using food to help keep them happy to be on each side. Soon, she will be pushing a double stroller and the boys will adjust easier since she is setting them up to succeed now.

My boys have been eating The Farmer’s Dog and My Ollie over the last year or so but they stopped liking it. It was always a stress to get them to eat. Why? 🤷‍♀️It makes no sense, this is the best food that I thought I could offer them.

So, I went on a hunt to go back to dry food. I wasn’t able to find a kibble that I liked so I went to air dried real meat dog food.

They liked it but they still weren’t eating as much as we thought they would. So, I sat down and hand fed them together. They ate with gusto. As I was feeding them, I clicked into “dog trainer” mode and remembered my mantra with me clients “When in doubt, scatter feed!”

I brought down my scatter mats and did my thing!

Moist (ew, that word!) food is hard to scatter but now that we are back to dry food the scatter feeding will be back in their lives.

It’s like they were asking for more mind work.

Do you scatter feed you for your dogs? Consider “ditching the bowl “ to give your pups some mental exercise.

Pro Tip: If you go on a hunt for food for your dogs. My advice is to avoid the following:

garbanzo beans
corn 🌽
soy
potato 🥔
pea
pea protein…to name a few.
