SPL Sunday or NFL Sunday? Your choice 🤷♀️
An SPL (subpalpebral lavage catheter) is a game changer for treating serious eye conditions. This silicone tube is placed into the eyelid and allows for eyes meds to be administered in a port further down the mane without having to touch the horses eye. Talk to your veterinarian about when it may be appropriate to place an SPL for eye treatment. We can manage these horses here at the farm! #gobills

It is “the 21st night of September” and all the Harvey Equine crew are tucked in for the night! 😄 SOUND ON 🚨
Our horses love their Haygain hay steamer! Steaming hay actually kills any spores that may be present. While steaming hay is great for any horse with respiratory conditions; pneumonia, IAD, RAO, it will also help prevent respiratory problems by minimizing the exposure to dust being inhaled into the lungs. 🫁
It’s Foal Friday! ✨✨
These kids are growing up and learning important life skills. While it’s important to let young horses be horses, I find it’s also important for them to learn good ground manners from a young age. Especially in the event of a medical emergency, not having to resort to sedatives constantly is a blessing. 🐴
We’ve been putting the final touches on the barn with a brand new bathroom and tack room stocked with cold drinks and snacks! ✨
We are so blessed to share this life with our daughter. We hope she enjoys it as much as we do! Her horse is pretty special too!
