We are dedicated to each horse recovering from surgery, injury or illness. We work closely alongside your veterinarian to create a personalized rehabilitation plan.

This horse came to us and we got started right away. We are so blessed with these sweet horses, dedicated owners, and great veterinarians. This takes a team! This horse received the whole package; ophthalmic treatments, nutritional plan, farrier work, and medicated baths.

The devastation that our community and surrounding communities has endured these last few days is immense! We are very fortunate that our family and horses are all safe! We have pastures, hay and water and our power is back on today. Travis has hauled some hay up into WNC but if anyone needs any hay hauled we have plenty to share! It is “the 21st night of September” and all the Harvey Equine crew are tucked in for the night! 😄 SOUND ON 🚨

Our horses love their Haygain hay steamer! Steaming hay actually kills any spores that may be present. While steaming hay is great for any horse with respiratory conditions; pneumonia, IAD, RAO, it will also help prevent respiratory problems by minimizing the exposure to dust being inhaled into the lungs. 🫁

It’s Foal Friday! ✨✨ These kids are growing up and learning important life skills. While it’s important to let young horses be horses, I find it’s also important for them to learn good ground manners from a young age. Especially in the event of a medical emergency, not having to resort to sedatives constantly is a blessing. 🐴

We’ve been putting the final touches on the barn with a brand new bathroom and tack room stocked with cold drinks and snacks! ✨

We are so blessed to share this life with our daughter. We hope she enjoys it as much as we do! Her horse is pretty special too!

Our Story

Brittany is a Licensed Veterinary Technician specializing in equine rehabilitation. She enjoys raising and training quarter horses for her families breeding operation. She grew up riding cutting horses and has since transitioned into riding reiners. The services we offer include mare foaling services, post op care (colic surgery, arthroscopy, etc.), wound management, ligament/tendon injury rehabilitation.
