Update on Barb. Getting a little better. Still a long road ahead. Keep prayers coming. And the animals Thank everyone who has donated food and litter. It has helped out tremendously. The animals are getting fat and happy.

UPDATE On Barb. Please start a prayer chain for my sister Barb. She took a turn for the worse. We need all the prayers we can.

I wanted to let everyone know there are rumors going around that SLURP rescue is closed. We are not closed just the SLURP THIFT STORE. Being a small rescue by state law we are only allowed to house so many animals at our rescue. We try and help the emergency cases first. We have a waiting list like other rescue groups have. We have list of other rescues phone numbers we try and have them reach out to or we call for them and try to find spots for the animals as quick as we can. Right now we are at full compacity. But we still try to help in other ways.

UPDATE on Barb. She went to drs and was told she is still very sick. She still has pneumonia, her heart, kidneys and lungs are damaged she still has infection. She had sepsis and Ecole and a bad seizure which she still has effects from. The doctor told us it will be at least 3 or 4 months at the least to see improvement. I am still taking care of the rescue because it is stressing her out worrying about the animals. Barb is worried they won't have enough food or litter. For the people that have already donated ty from the animals, Barb and I.
If you would like to donate we take checks made out to SLURP. Cash App $slurprescue. Or items need old blankets, old towels, news papers, food and litter.

Update on Barb. She is starting to feel a little better. Long road ahead of her. Volunteers and I are still taking care of all the animals. She maybe able to get out soon if levels stay good. Won't be able to go straight home thought.
Still asking for lots of prayers and donations of any type of litter or Friskies Blue bag Sea food. Also dog food.

I wanted to make a quick post. This is Betty my sister Barb is in the ICU she has kidney failure, heart failure, many test are getting done. Very sick. Volunteers and I are taking care of the animals. But I am in need of supplies and or cash. If anyone can help. Would be greatly appreciated. Pay Pal, Cash App, or you can message me personally. And lots of prayers needed.
