This is a volunteer (unpaid) role as an Animal Welfare 501(c)(3) Organization Event Volunteer at The Animal Cause, Inc. located in Bell County, Texas. As a volunteer, you will participate in on-site events and activities that support animal welfare, raise awareness, and promote social change within the community. Duties may include but not limited to:
Assisting with loading and unloading animals
Assisting with setting up booth area
Assisting with handling animals during event - including taking animals for potty breaks
Assisting with greeting booth visitors, answering questions and asking for donations
Videoing/photographing event
Assisting with social media management about the event
Qualifications
Passion for animal welfare and advocacy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and committed to volunteering
Ability to work collaboratively in a community-focused environment
Basic knowledge of event planning and organization
Note: As this is a volunteer position, compensation will not be provided. You must be a United States citizen and at least 18 years of age to apply.
At this time, we do not accept court-ordered service hours nor track community service hours.
Volunteers must not have conflicting associations with similar non-profit organizations or other business related to animal welfare.
