The Animal Cause, Inc. has been around since 2014 and is about to add a new program in 2024 to our existing portfolio of programs and service offerings. This new program in and of itself will add long term complexities and resource demands; therefore, we are recruiting an army of volunteers to help us with this endeavor.

We are a recruiting Volunteer Managers to oversee the daily tasks of recruiting for this new program.

As no volunteer has a set schedule, a Team of VM's will be formed so there's a collaborative effort and a sharing of responsibilities.

Ideal candidates are energetic, imaginative and collaborative individuals; willing to share ideas, feedback and ask questions. Candidates should be able to work independently as well as work in/with groups; and/or lead group communication. Ideal candidates should be a self-starter with initiative to get things accomplished, once a clear understanding of goal/general daily tasks/objective is obtained. Ideal candidates should be mature, responsible and dependable; with sound judgement making capabilities.

Fundraiser for Dorita's mass/tumor treatment: we were able to get one estimate for her treatment and trying to raise $500 so this can be addressed immediately.

Unfortunately, a 2cm lump that was examined in October has now started growing. It has tripled in size in such a short amount of time!!
Trying to get a her a veterinary appointment scheduled, as Emancipet doesn't offer this type of care.
Poor Dora, now called Dorita; prayers for her are asked. Her age is estimated to be between 9-11.

Become a Volunteer Administrative Assistant (REMOTE / WORK FROM HOME / VIRTUAL / UNPAID ROLE) for an animal welfare organization! We are about to add a new Program that will be a complex, intensive, long term; and almost insurmountable feat! We need tons of help!!
There is no set schedule for volunteers!! We are looking for someone who's interested in volunteering on a long term basis. We need mature, flexible individuals who can anticipate what needs to be done and take the initiative to do it.
No need for idea generation. Everything is blueprinted already. We do take feedback and ask for feedback but there's no pressure to assist with brainstorming.

Proven ability to ask critical, insightful questions and probe for information to facilitate problem solving.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Duties may include but are not limited:

Minimum of 1-year administrative experience is preferred but not required
Reliable
Team-oriented
Patient
Strong interpersonal skills
Long term commitment
Managing and distributing information to volunteer staff
Maintaining records
Must be honest and trustworthy
Excellent organizational skills

and surrounding area: Looking for temporary dog fosters! Become a Foster Partner to The Animal Cause, Inc.
Purpose: To temporarily foster a rescued Texas shelter animal (99% will be dogs) while The Animal Cause, Inc. is working with vendor partners to set up training, accreditation, and/or dog need requests.

Now that the spending is over (fingers crossed) with the exception of the van to get the dogs to and from the event, here is an updated expense itemization:

Luckily, all the girls left to get vaccinations required only one trip to the vet's office! Shew!!

Finally!! All the furbaby fosters are all caught up on their vaccinations!!!!!! We are ready for the adoption event just days away!!!!!!!!!
Handsome Jack is so excited, he'd be chewing his nails if he hadn't already gotten them clipped. He scaled out at 62 pounds! He's not only HANDSOME but apparently growing too. That Instinct dog food he's eating is doing him good!!
