Well this guy has gotten some age and size to him. Still looks nice IMO. Originally thought he had pastel in him but thanks to time and the eye of more experienced breeders than me I now think he is banana sugar puzzle.

First shot at hypo clowns! This girl is 1 of 5 sisters that we produced and held back just under 3 years ago. She was the first to give eggs and although we got 3 slugs I am super excited to see what we get! With the long odds I would ideally like to see a hypo to prove out the male and would be ecstatic with a hypo clown.

Well we didn't do great on odds for visuals but they are all girls except the one on the right! Bp Spider Lav x Leopard...

These are always the best clutches. We produced this famale in our first clutch years back and she finally had her first clutch herself. Better yet, we produced the male a few years back also! Regardless of outcome this will be a highlight of this breeding season!

So here is a little preview of our first puzzle clutch. The pastel sugar het first time mom only gave 4 eggs and one had very weak veins. It went bad pretty early on, so we were left with 3 shots to hit a visual....which we did!!! Lol. The dad was supposed to be a banana fire het but it may be possible he had something else in the mix. Will wait to post more pics and our theory as to the genetics until they shed.

Another small clutch...not sure whats up with that...but I will take it. Wanted to go for some really bright clowns so I paired a Super Pastel Vanilla Het Clown male to this Pastel Lesser Het Clown female. Might be hard to see the vanilla but lets just hope for some visuals!

Been super busy with life and not posting much but this one is worth the attention. This is pretty much our most anticipated clutch ever and I am asking for all the good mojo and prayers to the "odds gods" as I can get lol. First time mom, a pastel sugar het puzzle x a banana fire het puzzle male. Only got 4 eggs and 1 has what appears to be an embryo but super weak veins. Going to be a long wait but I am just super happy to get eggs from the pairing and hoping for healthy babies!

So a little story time. In my second year of actually producing clutches I had someone wanting to trade for some vanilla het clown stuff I had made and the guy was adamant/persistent. He offered a group of animals and eventually I gave in. It worked out because I ended up selling some to some local friends so they got good deals and I got out what the animals I traded were worth. There was one left though. A pastel leopard possible YB male. Looking at him I was VERY skeptical that he was actually YB. Somehow, he hung around for the last 3 years and when I had a single gene YB female that I didn't know what to put to...I said to myself...lets give him a go. I have always thought the ivory leopard stuff was cool and I just wanted to make one myself. This was a longshot in my eyes. Well I got a good clutch from her and what do you know...he is YB afterall. The fact that we got 2 leopard ivories and one that is also pastel was pretty good luck in my opinion! I am more excited about these two than I ever expected. Moral of the story...do clutches that are fun...they don't all have to be double recessive stuff to have a cool result.

This yellow belly female, a second time mom, gave 9 good eggs today. Bred her to a pastel leopard possible YB male. Simple clutch but I have never made a leopard ivory and I kinda want one 🤷‍♂️
