Paws At Home In Bend I'm a pet parent who also travels. Local business owner. Member of Pet Sitters International. Licen My son now has cats of his own.

Hello, I'm Lorie Sturm Marcyk
I moved to Bend Oregon in 2008 from Mackinac Island, Michigan where I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, (EMT)

As a child I wanted to be Snow White because of her relationship and connection to all animals! Throughout my life I've adopted and cared for several dogs, cats, birds, fish & gerbils. I've bottle fed orphaned baby bunnies, prepared special homemade

cat food for my elderly cats and administered medications, including sub Q fluids. I raised my son, who is now 30 years old with two kittens who grew up with him. We lost our beloved Mason-cat at age 16 but our sweet Benji-cat lived to be 22 years old. I currently share my life with my husband and Sebastian-cat who I adopted from the Humane Society of Central Oregon and Samantha-cat, a stray who chose to live with us! Since pets are my priority you can feel free to pack your bags but leave your "paws & claws" at home where they are content & comfortable. Update: 2016
My service area is now limited to approximately 15 minutes drive from my neighborhood of NW Crossing. However I will still travel further for existing clients. Please contact me by phone if you wish to establish service. You should know that I have had cats all my life. I'm a lifelong "Cat Mom"
I am focusing on felines!
