Season come and seasons go. Those whose paths we cross are here for a season, a reason, or a lifetime.
We had Walter join our herd 4 years ago. A pony who was reportedly used as a merry go round pony all his life and then dumped.
We found Walter through Horses That Help in Ocala FL.
Walter came to us hating people. We let him live a somewhat feral life, only putting hands on him when necessary for the farrier or the vet.
While only with us for 4 years, Walter made his friends in the herd, had his favorite tree stump for his daily belly rubs and fell victim to human interaction through carrots and apples.

We will certainly miss you Walter. I’m so glad that we were able to make your final years everything that you wished for.

We had a lot of fun learning with Equine Performance Partnership/Doug Jordan in our clinic at Long Shadows Charitable Foundation this past weekend.
Teaching our off-track thoroughbreds through different disciplines builds confidence, trust, and a better partnership. Thanks to Doug and his wife Amy Jordan for visiting us, always such great times!

Our Fuhrious Warrior participated in the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association thoroughbred aftercare day at Saratoga Race Track today.
Great to get the recognition for our work, educate the community on aftercare, and catch up with our aftercare partners!

Traffic Chief at 26 years old. Chiefie has helped dozens of thoroughbreds find their way back into the herd life. His calm but firm leadership creates the perfect place for these horses to learn their language with the balance between boundaries and play.
He’s helped many people who are struggling through life and helped kids learn to be present through the magical powers of the horse.
We love you so much Chief.

Happy 3rd birthday to our ever so handsome boy Regulatory Relief. Born on Cinco de Mayo we named him Queso. He had some rehab time over the winter and we look forward to getting him going in preparation of a new home!

While spring is right around the corner, we are still facing cold temps, and after a brutal winter, we are in need of filling up the hay shed.

Did you know that Horses stay warm by eating hay through a process called fermentation, which essentially turns their digestive system into an internal space heater. With a brutally cold winter the horses have been going through a lot of hay, and with a poor hay growing season in 2025, hay prices continue to climb.

Please help us fill the hay shed back up to get us through the remainder of the winter!
