FYI!!!
THE AUSTIN KENNEL CLUB, INC. SHOWS SEPTEMBER 20 - 22, 2024 HAVE NOT BEEN CANCELLED, THE SHOW IS PROCEEDING AND I HOPE YOU WILL ALL ENTER.

The only thing that has been canceled is DOCK DIVING - and that was at the recommendation of the organizer - not the club. We followed their recommendation. HOWEVER, we are going to try again next year.

SO PLEASE SHARE THIS. I've heard that people think our shows are canceled, but they are not.

Just a reminder to start preparing your dogs for Fourth of July. Play fireworks as loud as you can - find a YouTube playlist and. Play it loud anytime you leave the home (or as loud as you can handle it while you’re home) Put it loud on your back porch while they’re outside, and inside. Go ahead and play with some sparklers or some kid poppers in the backyard while you’re feeding them treats!! Conditioning! Positive conditioning! They need to have the smell of the fireworks as well as the sound of the fireworks, and we can’t replicate the feeling of the percussion. The more frequent short preparation for the fourth of you can incorporate into your life, the better!!!
