Last Tuesday 1/7/25 Greyson crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
We noticed right before Christmas he wasn't acting normal and his belly was extremely swollen . Early December 12/26 we went to the vet with him, Dr Sam is the absolute best and was in touch with me everyday during this time. He had to stay all day, for multiple test. We knew he was sick after several test came back, Over the 2 weeks that we were blessed to still have him, he went to the vet multiple times, Dr. Sam consulted with many other vets to help us get the best answers and possible treatments. Medications and homemade foods, pup cups and then anything he could eat. He fought hard and spent everyday moment of each day with those who loved him more than anything.

Grey was a loyal companion and ESD to Matison McLaughlin. He was by her side and helped her through some great times and some sad times.
As Mati got older and busier with school, Grey spent every second he could with her. He would cuddle, get in on special occasions even if it meant pictures being taking, staying close to her when she was practicing spinning her flags or riffle (he sometimes forgot how dangerous it was to get to close). Once Mati started driving he loved going for car rides with her, but that’s also when she got busier and he spent more time watching the door for her to come home.
Mati then added another special guy to her life Joah, which also meant another dog. Grey welcomed Cooper and would even cuddle with him when he was over.
Grey watched over the entire household and protected us from any roque squirrels in the yard and even the foxes and coyote that camped out in the backyard. Grey not only protected his humans he also protected the other dogs.
Grey trained himself to alert when Jennie's blood sugar was to low and even on his last day when it dropped low, and Jennie wasn't responding to his alert to wake up, he went and got grandma to help Jennie. Grey was an amazing cuddler and kept us warm and cuddled.
Grey was an amazing partner to Tallie Tallie & Grey's Wigglebutts , they brought 2 amazing liters of puppies into the world for a total of 15 puppies. Grey and Tallie got to grow up and shared everyday with 3 of their babies, Diesel, Aspyn and Apollo. Each of them all cuddled near him and gave him amazing kisses those last days it was obvious they knew he was sick. All of them still are sitting at the door waiting for him to go outside or to come back in and even seem to wonder around looking for him.
Grey also Face Timed with his other babies Izzy and Menard who are with Jennie’s sisters
Grey is so missed and loved by every member of the household.
We are sad and have lots of tears still thinking about him. Grey had Cirrhosis and went into complete liver failure, finding out it was Cancer and had spread throughout his body.
Nothing is the same without Grey, but positive he has found his way to Grandpa Marv and is watching over him now and us from heaven.
He will never be forgotten and missing him will never end.
