Dunndee Farms is looking to add 1 or 2 presenters & animal care people at our farm in New Port Richey, please email resumes to: [email protected]. must be able to pass a background check we work with schools and assisted living facilities, have own transportation. This is a part-time position 3-10 hours a week. Requires working outdoors and yes you will get dirty, you will be moving hay and cleaning animal habitats and feeding.

2nd attempt to reunite Quigley, Mom and siblings, unfortunately Mom said no. He did . have fun playing out in the sun and with his siblings.while we prepped everyone at the barn for the chilly weather.

Ruby thought 3 babies were too many, So now we have this little guy bouncing around he'll be ready to go in a few weeks if you're looking for a bottle baby.

Francisco would like to let you know how happy he is this morning to be a part of your day.. "Be Happy like a Capy!"

Tallulah and Francisco savoring their dinner, I just love Capy's munching away, tonight's dinner consisted of sweet potato, eggplant, celery, zucchini, summer squash, kale, dandelion and some pellet rodent diet alongside some tortoise chow & supplemented with vitamin c.

Those of you who know our farm, Rodney's one of the favorites at events, so here's your daily dose of Rodney. Don't mind Miss Mabel Cakes the Kunekune oinking at my ankles(she's starved of course, 😂)

DunnDee’s Begining

We are a small farm specializing in Mini Livestock and Reptiles, we provide Educational Outreach Programs.

We provide an up close encounters with 10 Amazing critters to obtain a real sense of what it means to be coldblooded. We touch on adaptation, conservation an our role in the ecosystem. Since 2009 we’ve been offering Reptile Education Programs in Florida and we offer these Programs at Schools, Community Events, and Reptile Birthday Parties. We work closely with the R’Club of Pinellas County, YMCA of the Suncoast and PLACE of Pasco County, giving year-round talks at all their locations. Our Reptile Educators are Class II Certified and fully insured we are also Approved Vendors for Promise Time and 21st Century Grants.

Our Reptile Program is a 1 hour presentation (up to 60 students) 40 to 50 mins (depending on age group) with 10-15 mins of questions and hands on with some of our animals, for larger groups we like to break it up into 2 x 45 mins programs so the kids really get a hands on experience. We cater to individuals of all ages and offer a program which is inclusive to all levels of learning:

4 Unique Programs with a huge variety of animals – We typically bring 10 animals to a Reptile Program and 6 to a Farm Program.

1 - Reptiles and their Adaptations

2 - All About Bugs

3 - Rain forest and Desert Reptiles

4- Indigenous & Invasive Species

5 - Mini Farm Program:

Our Mini Farm Program tailored to suit all age levels; it is a homestead 101 basically. We talk about what it means to be self-staining, our impact on the environment, we also touch on Organic foods and why you should care about what you eat and non-organic farming’s impact on our environment. We show examples of the items and products our animals produce ie. Milk and Eggs; some of which can be consumed or used for other purposes such as wool for this event bring the following animals:

Mini Donkey, Mini Goat, Mini Sheep, Chicken(s), Dwarf Rabbit & Mini Pig

The talk itself is about 35 minutes per group and then we’ll bring the animals around so everyone can interact with these lovely creatures. Lots of fun for the kids and adults alike. Looking for a Petting Zoo, keep us in mind for your next Event.
