You know your horse is a saint, when your 6 year old joy of a god daughter says she “just wants to sit” on your 17hh horse. So trustingly, you throw her up top with no saddle or helmet, and then apparently the spirit of her mother and the fire of her step-mother overcomes her and she kicks on with the leg strength of a warrior. Luckily, said saint of a horse was smart enough to know her own mother would lose her mind if she moved even one inch. Love your braveness, little Zara. Love your sanity Saint Savannah. ❤️ Wouldn’t have our times together any other way.

On Saturday February 10, 2024, in preparation for Valentine’s Day, we will be sending our love and sharing pet food with anybody who needs it. This pet food give-away event will run from 11am-2pm or while supplies last.
If you need pet food this season, please come by that day. If you need pet food urgently and cannot wait until February 10, or if you would like to donate pet food to support our efforts in providing food to pets in our community, please contact [email protected].

Meet Winston! Winston is the newest member of Fitzsimmons Farm. We think Winston is between 8-10 years old. He had severe skin allergies, chronic ear infections, 5 rotten teeth and a tumor on his ear. We got him all fixed up and he now enjoys all things fun on the farm, especially eating horse hooves, horse p**p and cat p**p. Winston’s all time favorite activity is sleeping on mom and dad’s bed at night.

While Duncan is not at all amused with his new brother, he has been caught cuddling next to him in his sleep. ❤️
