Central Oregon Animal Friend’s contract with Jefferson County ends June 30, 2023. As of July 1, 2023 Rock N EZ Rescue Ranch will be the new entity contracting with Jefferson County for animal shelter services. We at COAF want to thank everyone in Jefferson County for providing support for the Three Rivers Humane Society and know you are in good hands going forward. COAF will continue to collaborate with Rock N EZ Rescue Ranch and look forward to watching the continued success of your county! Well there has obviously been some mistake! We have your kitten here!!! Ok well maybe we have your future kitten. We are not receiving applications for foster or adoption from the website. If you haven't heard from us stop by or give us a call. The phones are back working.. All these kids would love to be in a home whether it is for a short time until they are fixed or forever.
We are also running very short on litter both clumping and non clumping, kitten and cat food. We can always use kmr kitten milk. They have also requested kitten snugglers. So if you have a few minutes stop by and give some snuggles.

Just when we think we have hit our max we opened the doors to these babies. Thank goodness a good Samaritan found these kids stuck in cardboard boxes left on the side of the road on the way to Troutcreek. We will chat with Deputy Hatcher about this but the good news is they are safe and sound. They were just very hungry. Nine total. 1 very pregnant mommy.

More fun with Petsmart toys!!!!

Thank you Petsmart!!! We received a wonderful donation of great toys and beds. Today we are having some fun with our puppers. These kids are going to be great in homes and are ready for a family. Lots of pictures to come but here is a sneak peak. We also have some wonderful cats and kittens for adoption at Petsmart in Bend. The last three pictures were just to much fun. No holding still for these kids.

We are so very fortunate to live in such a great community. Thank you Les Schwab for filling our food shed with much needed food. We were very fortunate to have a strong volunteer out here to help us unload. Bently was happy to be part of the activities as well.

Thank you everyone at Oregon Beef Company. This little girl went for a visit today. She talked to everyone and ordered some bones for her friends. When they saw her debit card everyone said "oh no we are not taking your allowance." They gave her bones for all her shelter friends. She got tons of snuggles and then her new friends at Oregon Beef Company loaded up the treats. If anyone wants to help out with bones for the dogs please contact Oregon Beef Company. This is the second time they have helped us out. Thank you from all the shelter dogs.

We at Three rivers humane society are so grateful to all the people involved. (except the thief of course). Joe alerted us that the can trailer was missing from his parking lot at the Black bear diner. With the help of many of our friends and the police the trailer was spotted.
This crew went above and beyond to recover the trailer and return it to us. We are so very blessed to live in a wonderful community. Thank you Jesse, Matt and Wyatt.

Update: Taz went home today with his new family. He has a new sister puppy as well.

Taz had a hold on him for a while but now he does not so he is up for grabs again! I know several people were interested in him but no applications were put in for him. He is a sweet goofball but sometimes he plays rough so no small children for this guy please. Head on over to our website to learn more about him and to put in a application.
