Another day of firsts. Our first demo without Odin and our first demo without a Snoebear. Today was also Fennec’s first demo and it didn’t take long for him to settle in and realize how awesome being pet all day long is. Taw also got on his sled and got to be a musher for the very first time.
So many things have changed over the years from dog vehicles to actual dogs but what never changes is sharing the love we have for this breed and what they were born to do.

Anyone one that's interested there is a dryland dogsled race at eaton reservoir in north east pa. This weekend. 6 dog teams start at 8am and 4 dog will be shortly after that and then 2 and 1 dog teams. Come check these 4 legged athletes in action doing what they love to do.

Last weekend was Lodi dryland challenge. Ace and Fennecs very first race they did great. Leaders were our friends dogs Dahlia and Santana. They did great job getting us around the trail. We all had fun and it was a good positive weekend. Looking forward to a good year with the pups.

Our two week “trial period” officially ends in two hours. As if he was ever really going to leave…. I transferred his AKC papers and got him his Erie County license two days ago so might as well make it official.
When you are this crazy, there is no need to hide it anymore. Might as well flaunt it.
Welcome, Fennec! A giant headed, year and a half old, no idea of personal space, kisses for everyone, and Ace’s new partner in crime. 😂🤣😅

This weekend is Winter Fun Day at Pleasant Ridge Park. Sunday January 22 from 1 pm - 4 pm. We will have plenty of activities, including the Red Sky Working Siberians doing dog sled demos, horse drawn wagon rides by May Farms, food truck from Tariq’s Best Philly, and face painting by Taradoodles. We will have S'more kits, hot cocoa, and popcorn for a small fee. And lastly the Erie County Public Library will providing some small activities as well. We look forward to seeing everyone.

The new season is just around the corner. The pups have been putting their butts to the grounds and noses to the air in the mornings. They can smell it. The crispness. The falling leaves. The cold air.

Even the retired elders can sense it. Even though their bodies no longer run, the hearts always will. That never changes. It’s in their blood. In their DNA. It’s what they were made to do.

Every year about this time, when the farmers are harvesting the last of their crops, couch potato season ends. They start to go a little stir crazy. Zoomies increase. Potty breaks in the yard take more time. No longer doing their business in the heat and running back inside to the AC. Now there are winds to sniff and leaves to chase. And dreams to chase, too.

It has taken three years to get here and for the first time since Nukka left to lead our team North of the Bridge, and Yakone followed a few years later, I am a tad excited for the new season.

Although I have tears in my eyes as I type right now, looking at harnesses doesn’t hurt quite as much. Thinking of snow doesn’t squeeze my chest as much.

There is rambunctious excitement in the air. A new season is upon us with a new secret, too! Stay tuned for a special announcement tomorrow!!!

Uno is an adult husky looking for someone with husky experience! He is a big handsome boy. Walks well on a leash. Appears to be house-trained. Will need multiple walks a day due to energy level. He is a good talkative boy.

“She is a very good girl and would make someone a loving dog. She is extremely affectionate. She is 60lbs and Heartworm negative. Probably somewhere between 2-4years.
My husband brought her home last night. She slept in my bed, had no accidents inside, and let me take food in and out of her bowl with no issues.
I have two small chihuahuas, an English bulldog, a cat, and a four year old, she did very well with all of them, she did not get the chance to get too close to the cat but did not show any signs of aggression. I did not attempt to feed her with any other pets. “
