Links to licensing boards can be accessed via the AAVSB website here. Comments that contain the following language or messages will be removed from the AAVSB social media channels:

Personal attacks or vulgar, abusive, offensive, threatening or harassing language or comments. This includes creative spellings of swear words using asterisks or spaces between words. Sexual content or links to sexual content. Promotion or advertisement a person or a business or commercial transaction that is unrelated to the mission of the AAVSB. Information which the AAVSB and its employees are required to keep confidential by law or administrative rule. Do not post the same content multiple times. The American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) is pleased to release its conclusions of its 2023 survey that reached veterinarians and veterinary technicians across North America. The survey was focused on exploring the potential delegation of tasks within veterinary teams under a valid VCPR and explored the potential introduction of a midlevel veterinary practitioner.

Dr. Venit at Midwest Veterinary Conference

This past weekend, the AAVSB’s own Dr. Beth Venit was in Columbus, Ohio at the Midwest Veterinary Conference! Dr. Venit presented on basic aspects of the complaint process and Spectrum of Care from the regulator’s perspective. AKA: “how to stop worrying and love your board.” She made some great connections and cleared up some common misperceptions that cause looming worry for many veterinary professionals. The AAVSB is excited to keep the ball rolling at more conferences in 2024!
