Congratulations to our sweet Stevie!! She is headed to Franklin Tennessee!!! We are so happy for her.
Sue and Bob, Thank you, for everything you did for her. This sweet girl had a long road to recovery after what was apparent years of abuse and now she is on her way to live in high life! We believe God directed her in the right yard, these amazing people who immensely changed her life. We’re going to miss our rockstar girl but we couldn’t be happier for her.

‼️Helene Update 9/25/24 from Dooly EMA‼️

The National Weather Service has upgraded its forecast for Helene from a category 3 to a category 4 before it makes landfall. The area of coverage for the HURRICANE WARNING has been increased northward to now include Macon and Columbus. It still looks like the eye of the storm should pass us around 2 a.m. Friday morning. Wind speeds should be around 40 mph sustained and 70 mph gusts at its peak around 2 a.m. Friday morning. There will be another briefing Thursday afternoon and I will share that information when I receive it. Be prepared and stay safe!

I had the honor of attending a recognition and dedication service today for two outstanding individuals, the late Sheriff Van Peavy and Commissioner AC Daniels, who were highly respected and admired by me and countless others. My initial connection with them was through another great man, my father, Art Lamb. I am deeply grateful for their dedication to our county and our citizens, as well as their support for me which was rooted in our shared love of animals. We will always be indebted to them for their years of dedicated service and unwavering love for Dooly County. They will forever be remembered as two outstanding men whose legacies will endure in our hearts and continue to inspire us all.
