This round of adoptions was truly so awesome.
One weekend I dropped my crew off at .in.cat.shape and she got my crazy little Cecil girl preadopted and I’m super excited for her home. She will be Liam’s little sister after jade’s passing and I can’t wait to see their relationship blossom.

Did you know we were housing this beautiful, fluffy mom tiger? Ms prickle has decided she doesn’t mind the indoors and may want to retire from street cat to indoor cat. She’s young. Likely under a year. Purr-fect age for those who don’t want to sign the next 6-8 months of their life up for kitten terror and want an easy keeper kitty.

I’ve been informed that we have a very special birthday today. Sweet baby Tiny Tiger. I loved this dope soooooo much 😍 so much he was only allowed to go to a very special adopter or he’d be going no where at all. Thank you for being the best mom ever for him and his brothers. He’s beautiful!

Keyren’s stink eye here is your sign to consider fostering this Spring/Summer, as it’s kitten season and the forecast is: unrelenting requests by poor, innocent Joe Schmoes who were just trying to take out their trash, but heard kittens crying in the dumpster. Curiosity caused them to dumpster dive and lo and behold, they find a litter of newborn kittens tied up in a plastic grocery bag. So then these Joe Schmoes are desperate, calling every rescue on google to intake this litter they found, but aren’t having luck because rescues everywhere are already full, because fosters can only foster so many kittens at once, but it’s hard for people who don’t rescue to understand that. So, they yell at us for being full, and then we yell into the universe at people who tie kittens up in plastic bags and throw them into the dumpster instead of just leaving them where ever they were. Happens every year.

If you can’t foster, Keyren’s stink eye is also your sign to follow this pro tip: don’t pick up a pile of kittens and tie em up in a grocery bag and throw them in the dumpster for your neighbors to find. Just leave em where they are. Mom truly is most likely around and knows where she left em and won’t come back till you scram. I don’t have exact numbers but this finding kittens tied up in a bag in a dumpster trend has persisted for years. Probably 40% of our intake requests.
