Established by professional pet sitters in 2012, The Pet Sitting Collective formed to serve the Northern Virginia area for all pet sitting needs.

We primarily care for dogs and cats, but are open to all breeds of pets and have experience with working with birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and other furry friends. We provide a unique service by giving your pet individualized attention in our own home, caring for them as our own pets. Our home features 3 floors with ample space, 5 acres of wooded property with miles of private nature trails, a la

rge backyard, in a safe community within walking distance of Burke Lake Park. Between Tomiken, a retired Homeland Security officer, and Jason, Dan and Rosie, the collective owners of the business, someone will be there 24 hours a day to supervise, and responsibilities are shared. If you're not comfortable with your pet being around other pets at our home, then alternatively, we offer in-your-home sitting as well. We will travel to your home as many times per day as your pet requires. We do have varying availability, so it's best to set up pet sitting in advance, but short notice can usually be accomodated. In case of an emergency while sitting, your pet can be taken to their regular veterinarian, or Companion Animal Clinic, where one of our sitters works.
