It's $5 dollar Friday, and we could use some help. We have more dogs on their way in and we would like to have the funds to care for them. We are a completely volunteer ran, so all funds go towards the rescue, care, training and adoption costs.

This is Grace showing off her platform training and showing she can listen, and of course pose for a camera shoot. Grace is a stunning Staffy Terrier at 40 lbs and is 5 yrs old. She is a spicy girl with a great personality, she does a little dance with her front paws when she gets excited. She can be dog selective so she would want to be your one and only love. She has met cats so if you have one that is dog savvy, she may do okay.

Grace went on an outing to get a much needed pedicure with one of our awesome volunteers, she did so well she took grace to a dog friendly eatery to get some social time. We love when our pups get spoiled & loved on.

Jade is doing great. She is so smart and has learned a few new tricks already including spin and pressing a bell to go outside (she mostly uses it when she wants to go play instead of for bathroom...lol!

If you can sacrifice the price of a coffee or afternoon beer, to help in the rescue of our local dogs & puppies. We need more kennels to accommodate the influx pets.

This is Coda in training learning "impulse control". The exercise consists of learning to stay, wait till instructed it's okay to chase the item, to release it, and not grab for it.
Coda did great at this! He is young and learning manners along with the impulse control will help with that. At Camp Barry we try to work with the rescue dogs daily on some form of training to make them an more adoptable dog and one that will have a better chance at making it into a forever home.🐾

If you need help with training, we offer classes. Group & individual classes, just DM us. We want you to be able to keep your dog. If you need help with spay or neuter contact your Humane Society in your area, they get funds for this.

This is Jade's Freedom Ride!! She came to us as a pup taken from an abuser and left with a local store manger, who then got her to us. Jade had been in training for search & rescue work. We were in contact with different places but none panned out. Just at the right time, along comes this family looking for just that kinda dog, a service dog and a family dog, Jade hit the lotto!!! Happy tails Jade & her new family!

Please remember they have feelings and emotions just like humans. Think before you adopt, have a plan. Please stop the impulse adopting, they just end up back at a rescue or dog pound and their chances of being re adopted go way down. 🐾❤

This is "Araya" our sweet large Bully mix, at her trim weight of 110lbs.And 8 yrs young. She came to us from Del Norte pound and was there for over a year, in need of medical attention. We got her checked out at the vet, she's now on over the counter supplements of fish oil & glucosamine for her knees. She is finally able to sit and walk so much better. This is "Marvin" he came to us under weight & neglected showing a few scars. Now he is 51 lbs, and learning to trust people again. He is coming along great with leash walking, sleeps in his crate at night, plays good in play groups around his size, figuring out that toys are fun. Learning food bountries, not all food is his. This happens a lot to dogs that are amoung homless people, which he was found abandoned in an encampment. He keeps a clean crate, and getting the idea of outside potty. Marvin is estimated to be between 1-2 yrs old. He is UTD on shots & neutered. He is Sheppard/Mountian Cur mix, just a beautiful boy that deserves a chance at a good life & loving home.
