Good morning!!!! Jojo and Ody had their pups 4 weeks ago. These puppies are Golden Aussies and commonly referred to as Australian Retrievers.
This breed is exceptionally tempered, & make tremendous support animals ( ESA, THERAPY, & Service DOGS).
At full maturity they can weigh 40-60 ish pounds depending on parents.
These puppies are videoed every week and put on our website!

They are now 3 weeks old and man are these puppies really nice. Today we have decided to film their first nail trim. Nails seem to be a huge struggle with so many owners, we start early and condition to weekly nail trims so when they go home you have an easy time!
They have also entered what’s know as the socialization period. Puppy barks, toddling, scenting the air and startling at loud noises all emerge this week.
We will introduce the litter box and open up their space a little more so they can have more room for toys and walking around. We will also start seeing them show some Intrest in food!!

Having exceptional table manners while we eat is very important for a Service Dog. Murphy’s placed perfectly under the table while I had lunch at our favorite pizza joint!!!

As a service dog, Murphy needs to have exceptional control around food today we worked around very aromatic canned chicken… It stinks to high heaven and dogs go crazy over it!!

Killian and Ody Girl Purple, what a looker she is!
Perfectly symmetrical front markings and a nice pencil thin blaze gives this girl a very pleasing look.
She is a very loyal girl with a huge heart.
Playing with squeaky toys are her favorite, but she’s quick to drop it for lots of snuggles and belly rubs!!!

Killian x ody Boy Orange- I call him Radnor from Vikings….. his eyes remind me so much of his.
Although nothing like his ruthless namesake, Radnor (the puppy) is a sweetheart. Boy who loves to play, is very confident and outgoing. He is always up for adventure, but also has a softer side when it time to rest. He chooses to sleep with his people and always needs to touch you.

Crate familiarization training. As a dog enthusiast, training, enthusiast, and breeder crate training I feel is one of the necessary skills your dog should have. Being able to be content and relaxed in a confined environment is so important. It helps keep your dog safe, it gives them a place to retreat to that is their space, and it’s also invaluable when there is an injury or surgery that requires your dog to be kept quiet. Here at a Kaigan Kennels we begin the crate familiarization process early on in your puppies life, we do this in an effort to help with the transition process when the puppies go off to their forever homes.
