Woof woof!

Daddy closed on our new house! We moved in yesterday. While I am unsure if this my house, I am loving it so far. That spiraled staircase looks very scary.

We lucked out with this house. Close to trails and skiing. I have a yard to run around and there is a really cute husky dog next door. I want to play with him. The GSD dog on the other side is an as***le and barks all the time.

And all the furniture, cookware, appliances, cleaning supplies, art work, etc were included as part of the sale. Good thing because my Daddy threw out all our furniture and cookware before we left Colorado.

Woof woof! I’ve been in Montana for a little over two weeks. Daddy and I are loving it. Daddy got a job offer last week and will be starting work remotely on Monday, May 1st. Daddy also found us a decent single family house in Anaconda which is in-between Butte and Missoula nestled between three national forests and close to ski areas. We are hoping to move into our new home before the end of May.

The dogs here are okay for the most part. I have not met any new friends yet. Smelled a couple butts but nothing special. The dog owners are much more responsible here in Montana compared to Colorado and actually control their dogs including telling them to shut up when they bark too much.

Daddy takes me on frequent hikes and runs on surrounding trails. I am enjoying the AirBNB we have rented for a month. It is a loft with a nice balcony porch.

Life is good as my daddy always says.

Woof woof! Welp, daddy sold our condo in Lakewood, CO and we are headed to Montana. New adventures await for both of us! Hopefully the dogs are friendlier up in Montana versus being attacked twice in the Mountains and six times down in Denver Metro area. Onward and upward!

Woof woof! Long time, no bark! It has been awhile since I have posted. Let’s see, Daddy had a sh*tty run racing season last year. His health has not been great with two serious bouts with Prostatitis in a year and dealt with a sprained ankle most of last year.

He DNFed a couple races including the Leadville Trail 100 Mile. I tried to keep him running but he has run out of gas and not running much. He has been skiing a ton.

Enough about him…lots going on with me. My old cranky Vet told my dad that my spleen tumor found in 2019 had grown in size and would need to remove it soon. I got very sick about a month ago and Daddy took me to another Vet who strongly recommended removal of that tumor.

So, I got it removed. It was the size of a basketball weighing almost 7 lbs. Best news is that the tumor biopsy results were benign. I have been recovering well and back to being Daddy’s adventure side kick. I am feeling so much better. We have been road tripping, he has been skiing, I have been playing in the snow, and we are running together albeit slow and short distance.

OH and the biggest news is that my Daddy and I are leaving Colorado! He is selling our Condo and we are Montana bound. Daddy has lived in Colorado for 24 years and I have been here for 10 years. We are both sick and tired of the crowds everywhere and I am done with being attacked by as***le dogs. Adios, Colorado! Excited to move closer to mountains and with a lot less people.
