A Difficult Discovery During a Dental Procedure 💔

What started as a routine dental procedure turned into something much more serious. Hidden inside the mouth of this sweet dog, we discovered a cancerous oral mass — a heartbreaking find none of us ever want to face.

Cancer is never something we hope to find, but because of this dental exam, we were able to uncover it and make informed, compassionate decisions. Most importantly, we ensured this sweet dog was comfortable, pain-free, and able to spend their final moments surrounded by love. 🐾💖

Due to the difficulty of visualizing an oral mass on an awake pet, oral cancer often goes unnoticed until it’s too late — pets are masters at hiding discomfort. This is why regular dental procedures and exams are so critical, not just for oral health, but for overall wellbeing and quality of life.
