Question: What is better than a 2x adopter? Answer: A 3x adopter!! When our wonderful friends reached out to our President to advise that they had lost their adored companion, and would be looking for another pup to help heal their hearts, PJ went to work to find a white german shepherd, which was their preference. Of course, temperament would be most important and ensuring that the dog fit their lifestyle. After only a couple of days, a possible fit was found. Our adopters were quite impressed when they met her, that they agreed to foster her. Soon after, they determined she was such a terrific dog, and quickly made the decision to make her a part of their family. As you can see from the pictures, Thalia (now Tali) is thriving in her new home.

Another reason why we do what we do! Our sweet Jasmine entered our care in September 2022 as a pup so terrified she had to be carried to the car. It took lots of time, patience and love for her rehab and to move her into a new phase where we felt it was time to find her forever home. Part of the healing process involved her interactions with other dogs whom she learned from that the world isn't such a scary place and humans can be trusted. While she remained very shy with humans, after more than a year of rehab, she began to show progress and subsequently found a home to call her own and has a fur sister to pal around with. We are confident that she will continue to grow and thrive under the watchful eye of her new mom.

Our sweet pup Reggie, who was found abandoned in a dog park, has found his forever home, with a mom, dad and fur sister. Reports from his adoptive family indicate that he is fitting in very well. He is a great travel companion and has behaved very well at the houses of other family members. Happy life sweet boy.

Meet our new addition - handsome 7 month old hunk Sully. Sully was brought into our organization from a local animal shelter, as he was not thriving in the shelter environment, and the training staff felt that he would do much better being in a foster care situation. What we can tell you about him so far, is that he is a very sweet boy, who loves his humans. He is excellent when interacting with other dogs, but he does have a rough and tumble playstyle, which is typical for a youngster of his age. He will require strong leadership and ongoing training. More great news to share. Another one of our long term dogs, Evan, has been adopted and now living as Shep with his new mom. This boy is one of the sweetest dogs, even though he had a really rough start in life. It took him a long while before he could trust humans again. When he first came to us, he suffered from severe ear infections, which took quite a while to get under control. Thankfully, there was no damage to his eardrums, but will require ongoing daily medication care. Even though he was hesitant during the first meeting with his mom, she understood and was very gentle with him, to which he responded. In an update just received, he is doing really well in his new home and is much loved. Have a great life sweet Shep.
