The idea for Banded Pines all began when I started getting tired of having to replace my dogs’ collars. I have a husky and a coley/retriever mix, both of which love playing outside like any dog. They also seem to love being rough on collars… I realized that it was nearly impossible to get a collar that would hold up against dogs being dogs. Every since we have researched, developed, and produced n

ot only the most durable and dog friendly collar but also one that looks great. Here at Banded Pines we like to put our customers first and help your dogs live, play, and love how they should.

Waking up today knowing we’re FINALLY launching the Neon Collection is surreal to say the least. When we first finished designing this collection in February 2020 we had no idea what the year would bring us. One month later we would lose our fabric. The next month a pandemic destroyed any hope we had of finding a new material, and so we pushed on for the rest of the year without it, not ever knowing what the next week would bring. We could have sat back and waited to see if things would change, blamed everyone else around us and compromised our morals by continuing to print on bad fabric... Instead we chose to take action every day to move forward. We researched, planned, designed, and fortified the vision we have for Banded Pines. We purchased the machines we thought we wouldn’t be able to have for years, bringing printing fabric in-house to the present. Months of hunting for proprietary fabric and praying brought us a miracle, one we still don’t know how to explain. And so when we find ourselves in dark places, and we’re searching for someone to save us, we have to remember that person IS within us. Every time you prove to yourself that you CAN do something you thought impossible, your light grows a little more. Your mind gets a little stronger. You trust yourself a little more.
