Penelope has already won over the staff at Chicago Animal Care and Control, the volunteer who brought her to C.A.R.E., and everyone who has met her since. Now she’s hoping to capture one more heart—the one that takes her home.

This sweet girl is the total package: calm, well-mannered, house-perfect, and happiest when she’s spending time with her people. She enjoys walks, loves a little playtime, and has fully embraced her role as a professional couch companion. (House hippo status: confirmed ✅)
