Brendan has been involved with professional animal care for more than 10 years in the United States, Canada and overseas. Not only has Brendan achieved his certification as a Professional Dog Trainer through the Animal Behavioral College, he began his career in Animal Care as a Veterinary Assistant in California and has been an active volunteer i
n his local animal shelters throughout the years. When he relocated to Dubai, he worked with a veterinarian providing Aqua Therapy for dogs. While there, Brendan gained wonderful relationships not only with dogs of all breeds and sizes, but also with the owners who entrusted him with the care of their beloved four-legged family members. After returning to the United States, Brendan has continuously worked at improving his expertise in his field through ongoing education including his certifications in Shelter Dog Training and Canine CPR and First Aid. There is usually one event in one’s life that inspires them to pursue their passion, and it was no different for Brendan. That event was lovingly referred to as “Little Rusty Gemmell” who was a small daschund-beagle mix that Brendan adopted from his local shelter approximately 20 years ago. Rusty was a little ironman and lived to the remarkable age of 23.
