Our Story
Trainer and owner of Canebrake Retrievers, Jason Daves, has over 20 years of experience training performance retrievers that deliver results. Having the opportunity to work for and train along side some of the most elite trainers in the country, has given him the invaluable insight and experience needed to diagnose and overcome any training obstacles that may come up for your dog.
In addition to his extensive training background, Jason is also an avid waterfowl hunter of nearly 30 years. So whether you’re in a layout blind in North Dakota or leaning your shoulder to a tree in Bayou Meto, he knows exactly the situations you and your hunting partner will encounter.
