Great Dog Rescue New England (GDRNE) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit, shelterless, all-breed rescue group headquartered in Massachusetts.

Great Dog Rescue New England needs foster homes! As a shelterless rescue, we don’t have a building where our dogs are housed until they get adopted. We are lucky enough to have loving families who open their hearts and homes to our dogs until they are placed, but we need more foster homes so we can save more dogs. If you can’t foster, we’re always looking for volunteers to help with home visits, s

creen applications, and to help with special events, so there are lots of ways you can help. Every month we save dozens of wonderful dogs from local and Southern kill shelters and place them in safe, nurturing homes. Please consider joining us in this effort; we would love to have you!

Meet Niles
a 7 month old, Lab mix, who weighs about 37 pounds.
This sweet boy was found as a stray in Tennessee and is looking for his forever family in time for the holidays.

"Niles is an absolute sweetheart of a puppy! He’s the perfect mix of playful and gentle. Niles is wonderful with kids and gets along beautifully with other animals. He even did great during his cat test and demonstrated calm curiosity and good manners. He’s friendly, loving, and ready to wiggle his way into a forever family. He'll need a patient family who is committed to continuing his training. Niles is the total package — now he just needs someone to love him back!"

Meet Mixie Moon
a 6 month old, Pug mix, who weighs about 14 pounds.
The MOON pups were surrendered to us in Tennessee and are all happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families!

She’s petite now at about 14 pounds, but will likely grow to around 25 pounds. Meet Aurora Snow
a 5 month old, Husky mix from Tennessee, who weighs 30 pounds.

This sweet & beautiful Husky is the perfect balance of gentle and playful. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her friendly and loving personality shines through.
Her parents were both gorgeous Huskies.

She would love to find a family who is familiar with her breed because Huskies are known to have lots of energy. She enjoys playtime in the yard, but also loves quiet moments where she can simply be near her people. Her playful side is sure to keep you smiling. With her playful demeanor, she's great with kids and other dogs, too. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle friend who will blossom with love and patience, this beautiful girl might just be the perfect match!

"Baby Hardy is a short, chunky, silly, and happy-go-lucky guy! He has bursts of energy and then is quickly ready to curl up for a snooze session and be a couch potato. He's great with other dogs and would love to have a doggy friend to spend his days with (but that's not a requirement). Baby Hardy has been wonderful with every person he meets and this happy and silly boy is always excited to meet new people! He has the cutest wiggle/waggle swagger when he's walking towards you. Meet Brynn Fuzzy
an 8 week old, German Shepherd mix, who weighs about 17 pounds. The FUZZY pup's momma was found as a stray pup in Tennessee. She is a German Shepherd, and their dad is unknown (we are thinking maybe Great Pyrenees based on their size... look at those paws!) They are all happy, healthy (and fuzzy) and ready to find their forever families!

These puppies are wonderfully big babies with the sweetest temperaments. They’re on the calmer side — a little lazy most of the day, with cute playful spurts that make them extra charming. They’re healthy, happy, and fun to be around. They’re already growing into large, gentle pups who love people and enjoy a relaxed routine! If you’re looking for an oversized cuddle bug who will bring you adventure, these pups are the perfect match!

a 6 month old, Black Lab / Beagle mix, who weighs about 30 pounds. Tisha and her sister were rescued from a horrible situation where the policed forced their owners to surrender her in Tennessee. We're happy to report that despite her tragic beginning, this girl is happy, healthy, friendly and well socialized - she's ready to find her forever home!

Meet Arlo
a 7.5 month old, Lab / Australian Shepherd mix, who weighs about 50 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray in Tennessee with his brother, and now these boys are looking for their forever families!

"Arlo is a handsome chocolate, fluffy boy. He looks like he is a Aussie/Lab but we are just guessing. What we do know, is that he's a big, lovable puppy! He is such a friendly guy and makes friends everywhere he goes, and plays great with other dogs, too! Arlo seems to be pretty housebroken but will need patience and supervision when he adjusts to his new home given his age!"

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗩𝗣 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 - 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗽𝗽𝘆!

These babies were found as strays in Tennessee. Their momma gave birth to them under a shed on a rural property. Once we found the puppies, we had to jack the shed up 6 feet in order to rescue the babies safely. They are about ~6 weeks old and we are guessing they are Boxer / Lab mixes.

As of 11/18/25, Gunner Quarterback weighs ~8 pounds. And their momma was about 45 pounds fully grown. We know these puppies will be great family dogs and will be wonderful additions to any patient & loving family. They are happy, healthy, and ready to find their forever families!

Meet Foxy
a 4 1/2 month old Shepherd mix gal who weighs 26 pounds.
Based on her size now we expect she will end up around 50 pounds - the perfect size for the perfect dog.

Foxy was an owner surrendered dog in Georgia - now living in an incredibly loving foster home.

"Foxy is a true treasure!! She is a happy go lucky girl!! She loves playing and exploring. And after that, wow is this gal ready to cuddle with her person and watch a movie. She would do best in an active home because young active puppies need exercise like hiking, walking, and exploring every day! She will be your sidekick on any adventure be it in the car or out exploring. She is super friendly, loves attention, and to play. She is very smart too and will be easy to train. We think she would be great for a family with school aged children. Foxy is a fantastic dog, and one lucky family is about to get the most wonderful new family member!"
