This is a time of uncertainty and change. We have been diligently working on the best and safest way to help our clients. We are implementing some drastic policies which include using our own leashes, keeping direct contact to pets at a minimum, not entering homes (hand off at front doors), sanitizing door k***s and wearing a new set of gloves for each client. If you are working from home, or are still able to work in your office, please reach out. We are offering discounted rates and extending our business hours. Our pups need their exercise and mental stimulation. We are dedicated to help you keep life as "normal" and safe as possible during this difficult time. Y’all know spraying all that Lysol is real toxic to your pets right? (Especially cats)
There are other ways of disinfecting your environment without drowning everything in Lysol.
For example White Vinegar / a lil soap / water

*Phenol (in Lysol) can cause liver damage to pets, and Lysol gives off potentially harmful volatile organic compounds in its vapors. Additionally, if your dog licks or ingests Lysol, it can cause serious chemical burns, usually on the tongue and upper esophagus. -Famous Amos Nose Bloodhounds

As the Greater Kansas City area makes adjustments and preparations to avoid the spread of Covid-19, we here at Walk The DOG are taking extra precautions to keep your pets and homes safe. Although there is currently no evidence that pets can spread Covid-19 to other animals, including humans (American Veterinary Association) we understand the concern. Stay safe out there and 🐶 🐾 💦
