Join us on October 19th, from 2pm to 6pm, at Angels Grove Rescue Ranch for a fundraiser to support horse rescue efforts. Enjoy a country hoedown with food provided by Drago's Restaurant, pony and horse rides, line dancing, and a hayride. Participate in a raffle for a Harley Davidson motorcycle ($100 per ticket) and receive a plate dinner with your $25 entrance ticket. We extend our gratitude to Julius Scott for his kind donation of equipment and unwavering dedication to bailed hay, as well as Pam and Mike for generously offering their fields, thereby making it possible to provide high-quality hay for our rescue horses. We deeply appreciate their tireless efforts, which have resulted in a bountiful supply of nutritious hay over the past few weeks.

The loss of a horse can be a challenging experience, but it is possible to honor your companion animal and cherish the time you shared together. You can take time to grieve and reflect on the memories you have of your horse. Surrounding yourself with loved ones or spending time with other horses can also be helpful. As an animal rescue organization, it is sad to see a part of our hearts, the beautiful and sad faces of horses we have rescued, leave us too soon. However, we take comfort in knowing that we were able to provide love and care to these animals in their final days and that they are now at peace.

All campers are encouraged to sign up for horsemanship lessons to further their knowledge of horse handling and bonding.
