- Vaccine record or health record
- Crate or carrier
- Sanitation: litter box, paper towels, wipes

Dr. J needed some nourishment from to fuel her brain before hunkering down for an amazing course on the gut microbiome!

At Vet 2 Door, we LOVE to educate our clients on their options for healthy foods. Over the past few months, we have been exploring the gut microbiome in our patients with difficult cases (extreme itching, IBS symptoms, etc) that would not succumb our go-to remedies. To better understand the “second brain” of the body, we connected with The AnimalBiome Project.

Holiday season is right around the corner which means it’s the perfect time for your furry friend to snag and ingest a gift off the table, tear a ligament mid-zoom with the kids that are home from college, or insert the name of any other poorly-timed pet ailment. At the human doctor, we generally have an idea of what ‘surgery’ entails, but what about our pets? Check out Dr. J’s blog on pet surgeries; she gives a thorough list of helpful tips and questions you should ask before your pet goes under anesthesia. Good morning Vet2Door friends and family!!! We will not be scheduling regular appointments with Dr. J from Wednesday, September 27th through Monday, October 2nd. WHY?! Because Dr. J is taking her first vacation in almost 10 YEARS. Wahoo!!!

However, Sarah will be available for technician appointments (Bordetella vaccine, sub Q fluids, medication refills) and phone calls or texts.

After 10 years, a few days doesn’t feel like a wild vacation, but it’s a small step! Her dedication to animals is unmatched and I think we can all agree she’s earned it!!
