While mature, fully-grown dogs often cope better than young, impressionable puppies during seemingly scary encounters with other dogs, it's not natural or enjoyable for some dogs at any age to be in social settings.

And that's OK! Looking for ways to socialize your dog? Limit interactions to dogs and people you know well enough to judge their temperment. Consider small group meetups over dog parks or group events.

And remember, socialization doesn't necessarily mean meeting other dogs or other people, it's exposing your dog -slowly and safely - to new sounds, sights, environments, and situations.

🐕 Puzzle Toys: Use interactive toys or DIY puzzles like a muffin tin with tennis balls over treats. Your pup will love the challenge!

🐾CRATE TRAINING IS NOT BEING UNKIND TO YOUR PUP! 🐾

This training process teaches them to view the crate as their personal den, a comforting environment where they can relax and feel secure. Additionally, crate training aids in establishing a routine, which is crucial for puppies as it provides structure and predictability. 🍗 No Turkey Bones or Fatty Scraps
Turkey bones can splinter and cause serious harm, while fatty foods can upset your dog's stomach—or worse, cause pancreatitis.

C. I may seem relaxed now, but if I hear the treat bag, I’m flipping faster than a pancake!" 🥞🐾

😆 But in all seriousness, what does it mean when a dog shows you his belly? It can mean a few different things depending on the context:
