This is the hardest part of being a groomer🥺

I was honored earlier this week for Captain's mom to bring him to visit me before they had to say goodbye today. When she carried him from the car to my house it took everything in me to hold it together to be strong for her and her daughter. As they were leaving and carrying him back to the car the thought of how this was the last time I will see him hit me hard. I waited until they were out of sight then lost it.

He was such a very special boy and the oldest doodle I groomed. He loved getting treats during grooming and did so good on the table. On his last spa day he had to take several breaks and lay down..I knew the time was getting close but it never makes it any easier. Thank you Krista for taking the time to let me say goodbye.

You are already missed sweet Captain. You were such a good boy! ❤️
