Poncho is the epitome of what everyone looks for in a draft cross. He is 5yrs old, half percheron & half quarter horse and he displays the best characteristics of both breeds. He stands a sturdy 15.3hh with incredible bone, substance & feet. His big hip, great shoulder and back make his conformation flawless and the beautiful buckskin roan color is just the cherry on top.
Poncho has been in the same full time program for the past year and during that time he has won the hearts of the entire family being the barn favorite. He has seen countless miles out on the roads, riding through town, through the pastures, trails, cattle and loads of arena work. And he does it all well and has been enjoyed by all who have ridden him. In the arena he is impressive. He rides around like a pro…..big stop, will ride on a completely draped rein, or will pick up respectfully on contact. Super lateral work, he will side pass with ease and do a beautiful trot half pass. He will effortlessly collect up or move out. Pivots, rollbacks, and rides bridle less. He has been ridden English, taken over some small cross rails willingly, and has schooled dressage. He is very mature in the mouth and will pack around any bit, and works the same in a bridle bit or a snaffle. Very easy and uncomplicated ride.
This horse truly is the definition of versatility. He has a very trainable mind, and loves to work. He is one you can take out to move cattle & do ranch work on one day, and turn around and take to the dressage arena (or western dressage) the next day. Or take him for a moonlight drive down the road one night, and go ride in a cowhorse clinic the next day. He’s a naturally cadenced mover, very smooth, level headed, great on his feet, and can handle any terrain. He crosses water, logs, rides through the timber, heavy traffic, will drag logs, carries the flag, jumps, pasture ropes, rides out alone without issues, and lopes through the fields or down the roads on a slack rein. He will also do all arena work bridle less with ease.
Poncho is very well mannered on the ground. Ties, cross ties, bathes, and is great for the vet and farrier. Wonderful in a stall and acts like a seasoned pro in new environments. He is an absolute joy to have. He is up to date on farrier, teeth and chiropractic work, he has a brand new coggins, and a current PPE on file. Easy keeper that requires no special cares or maintenance.
You will be hard pressed to find another one just like him.

ER’s Wanda’s Wonder is a 2021 bay and white Friesian Sport horse mare that is registered with the Friesian Blood Horse Registry and is DNA verified. Sired by a registered Friesian stallion and out of a draft cross mare. She stands just a hair shy of 16.1hh and is conformationally flawless! She is big b***d, full bodied, long full mane, and has the markings that make her stand out in any crowd. This mare draws attention where ever she goes.

Wanda is breeder owned and has had the best care her entire life. Currently in full time training with Calvin Yoder and has been for the past 7-8 months. She was started correctly with a solid foundation. She does all the liberty and ground work, rides great in the arena, and has seen countless miles outside both in open country or down the county highways and in town. She has superb ground manners, ties, cross ties, bathes, clips, etc. She stalls great or lives out in a mixed herd setting. Very easy keeper, and even extremely tidy in her stall.

In the arena, Wanda lopes right off on cue, collects up or travels level headed on a slack rein. She is easy and uncomplicated to ride. She pivots, side passes, two tracks, side passes to the mounting block on cue and stands like a statue for mounting. She rides English or western, and rides the same in a bridle bit, snaffle, bosal, or bridleless with nothing on her! She will take collection comfortably and pick up for the dressage work, or she will do a little western pleasure type jog trot on a slack rein with a level head. However you decide you want to ride her, she will do it and do it well. She is also great at pattern work and simple lead changes. And is so broke & solid, she can do it all ba****ck without anything on her but the rider.

Outside of the arena, Wanda is as close to unflappable as we have ever seen one. She will ride through the timber, streams and rivers, any terrain you throw in front of her, or will ride right down the highway or right down town. She even rode 9 miles into town for her coggins appt at the vet clinic. And she will ride the same in all situations whether alone or in a group. She carries the flag, you can crack the bullwhip on her, drags the tire, logs, or will pull the kids around in the sled. She has been used to pony c**ts as well.

This young mare is quiet and gentle beyond her years. Safe with the kids, and solid enough in the saddle for any level rider. She is a joy to keep and be around in every way. Always healthy, sound, requires zero maintenance or special cares.
She is UTD on dental, Chiro work and has a current coggins.

Leo’s King Jr is a stunning 2018 dark sooty buckskin registered GVHS gelding that stands 14.2hh. His color is so unique with his reverse shading, his conformation is impeccable, and he has all the feather, mane and tail that you expect in a gypsy. Along with big, soft, kind eyes that 100% match his personality.

King is extremely well broke to ride both English & western as well as driving. He is well versed in the arena, lopes off on cue, soft in the face, works off leg, collects up beautifully or will move out when asked. Rides with collection or on a slack rein, snaffle or bridle bit, will lay down or sit up on command, stands like a statue for mounting or to be used as a jungle gym, carries the flag or will drag just about anything behind him. He is steady and unflappable making him a great fit for most any rider or any level. Outside of the arena, he is very comfortable out on the trails alone or in a group. Cajun is a 2022 AQHA c**t with papers boast Highbrow Cat on the top and Peptoboonsmal on the bottom side. He stands right at 14hh coming into his 2yr old year and should mature right around that 14.3hh mark. His eye catching rabicano markings, chrome, flaxen tail, and flawless conformation really make him stand out.

Cajun is fit & ready to go continue his education and start under saddle. He has all of the foundation / ground training done….He lunges on a line or works in a round pen, ties, cross ties, bathes, picks up all feet, soft in the hand, yields his hind quarters, turns on his haunches, roll backs, and has had a lot of desensitization work. This c**t is exceptionally good on his feet. He is an absolutely beautiful mover and has a mind that is extremely trainable. Cajun is a smooth mover that naturally travels around level headed and deep hocked. He is always bright eyed, eager to learn, retains his training, and thoroughly enjoys it.

Tanker is a 5yr old Registered Bay Roan AQHA gelding that stands 15.2hh and is built like a tank! He boasts a pretty head, big kind eye, and all the shape and body one could hope for. This horse is built to last the test of time with his solid correct frame, great bone, and hardy feet.

This gelding is owned by a friend of ours who has had him the last few months putting him through his program. Prior to that, Tanker was primarily used as a ranch horse and was day worked on extensively. His recent training has included a lot of arena work, outside miles and road and traffic miles. This gelding rides around comfortably and consistently one handed on a draped rein, has push button lope departures, pivots, side passes, stops with your seat, and is soft through his body. He trots poles, drags tires and logs, is great with all obstacles including the teeter totter bridge, tarps, and bullwhip. He is also just as easy to ride bridleless or ba****ck.

Outside of the arena, Tanker is right at home. This gelding can long trot big pastures smooth and comfortably on a draped rein all day long. He is the same horse riding out alone or in a group, doesn’t get worked up or hot, and keeps a level head no matter what kind of livestock he is working with. He is sure footed and willing through any terrain, and is 100% traffic safe, even riding along busy county highways. He makes putting hours in the saddle enjoyable because he is so smooth traveling and easy to ride through whatever you encounter.

Tanker is a very easy keeper with great ground manners. He has also recently had some basic liberty training done with him making him the perfect gentleman on the ground. He ties, cross ties, bathes, and is wonderful for the farrier. He lives outside 24/7 well in a herd setting or stalls beautifully and is always easy to catch when outside. He stays well fed on whatever you feed him, and requires no special cares or maintenance. He is UTD on teeth, deworming, and coggins.

The only thing to note about this gelding is that he will occasionally be tight in the back when you first step on. A simple kick around on a lunge line before stepping on would take care of it, but current owner just steps on straight out of his stall and he just warms up right out of it when he does it.

Buddy is a 15yr old buttermilk buckskin gelding loaded with dun factor and amber colored eyes. He stands 14.2hh with a stout build, good bone and a deep heart girth.

This horse has spent his entire life blazing the trails. Group trails or solo rides, deep woods or through town and city parks, he is a reliable ride. He has a good ground covering walk, goes through water, thick brush, highway traffic, town traffic, you name it. He has smooth comfortable gaits, and is an uncomplicated ride. Buddy is owned by a friend of ours, and has spent the past few months getting tuned back up after he had been sitting for some time. He will lope circles both ways, drag logs and tires, you can crawl all over on him or underneath him, crack the bullwhip on him, hes good with tarps, ground poles, etc.

Buddy is a very easy keeper. He requires no maintenance or special cares of any kind. He stalls well or lives out 24/7 on just pasture or hay. He ties, cross ties, bathes, loads and hauls well, good for the vet and farrier, just an easy horse to own. He has a very friendly demeanor and is always bright eyed and eager to hit the trails and go exploring. He can sit for extended periods of time, and will be the reliable horse to take out for your next trail expedition.

He is UTD on Coggins and farrier and was age confirmed by our vet. Please note that his tail was chewed off by c**ts, but as you can see it is nice and thick and it will grow back to be a full beautiful tail in time.

THE HORSE EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR!
Boone is a 4yr old registered AQHA 15.2hh sorrel gelding that is made right! This gelding is the perfect combination of running and foundation/cow bred. But what sets this horse apart from the rest, besides his flawless conformation, pretty looks, and talent is his mind! This is hands down one of the best minded horses I have ever had the pleasure to know.

Boone is on his second owner in life, coming directly from the breeder. He is owned by and in training with a very close friend of mine, so I have had the pleasure to get to know this gelding well over the past few months. He has now been in his program for 8 months getting extensive arena training, and a whole lot of outside miles, including lots of road miles. This gelding is TALENTED and so extremely smart and trainable. In the arena he is extremely soft, supple, has wonderful lateral work, rides around on a slack rain, bridle less, is really good on his feet, steady and unflappable. Absolutely easy for anyone to ride, no owners manual needed. He is naturally a big stopper, will spin a hole in the ground, and will turn around and pack the youngest most timid children around. He has also had extensive ground work and liberty training which makes him the absolute most reliable gentleman on the ground. If you forget to grab a halter when going out to fetch him up, no worries, Boone will follow you like a puppy dog.

He trail rides great, handles any and all terrain and obstacles set in front of him, crosses water, ponies c**ts, and rides quietly right down the road in any traffic. This horse will self load on a trailer, and you will forget you even have him on there because he is so quiet and well mannered when traveling. He is 110% the exact same horse in new environments as he is at home, and he can sit for weeks and rides off the same as the last time you rode him. This gelding would excel in many different areas……..ranch riding, ranch reining, SHOT horse, youth horse, family horse, ranch horse, trail horse, or take him home and start him in the roping. Either way, this is the kind of horse that could replace 6 in your barn as he will and can do absolutely anything you desire to do with and then throw the kids or beginners on him the next minute. And with is age, this horse has a lifetime to serve you ahead of him.

Boone is a very easy keeper, lives out great in a herd setting or stall. Easy to bathe, clip, tie, cross tie, farrier, vet etc. There is honestly nothing negative we can say about him. He has great feet, clean legs, and the only blemish on him is a superficial old flesh wound scar on his rump near his tail. He has his current noggins and just recently had his teeth done.

This 4yr old, 15.2hh AQHA gelding is one you will not want to miss out on! He will be fully listed on Tuesday. You dont find geldings like him everyday. Here is a sneak peek of the next one to be offered in the near future. This big, (15.1hh) registered Haflinger gelding is as cool as they get! He has been here about 6 months now and we have enjoyed every minute with him.
