Good news!! Handsome neuro Ricky got a Critter Nation cage donated for him… it should cut down on his nose getting irritated and hurt nonstop from his seizures.. gonna be a hot minute till I can get him set up for him with soooo much going on at the rescue… but it’s in the works!! ❤️🐿️
I love this little hurt boy that had the bloody face. He is such a sweetie and he’s starting to walk around more now. I still think there may be some Nuro issues because he’s a little off …so he will get some extra attention. I’ll have to come up with a special name for him too. What a cutie… ❤️🐿️

Tried to film Raffi and Callie while they were playing.. but as you see Callie sees me and stops lol.. they were going NUTS.. having so much fun!! They are completely weened.. they stopped taking a bottle sooner then I thought they would but they said NOPE .. we are big kids now … cuties!

Boo Bee is such a good eater and gets in the craziest positions.. I need to tape his feedings one of those times ..he literally almost turns upside down it’s so funny lol 
Tonight‘s escapades included breaking down the old cage the one eyed girls were living in holy cow that was crazy doing alone with just an axe lol..I got it all down within an hour and was able to save tons of rolls of hardware cloth … that stuff is soooo expensive now..and I’m keeping tons of wood that has not been destroyed by the elements or termites and I can use it for braces in other cages or more feeding stations.. or who knows what else I can build… lol.. The ducks are having a field day foraging through it all finding so many bugs lol now I had to order a dolly because the cages are in the front yard and are so heavy and ginormous… I can’t get them moved to the backyard lol luckily it comes tomorrow so I can keep moving along… ❤️ stay tuned ❤️

Here is the final five babies that mama Ginny hatched.. She has now left all the rest of the eggs so they’re not going to hatch.. 😞 Lets hope they are not five roosters lol they are so cute and it’s a mix of silkies and my bosses other crazy large chickens he breeds lol can’t wait to see what they look like as they get older.. ❤️🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣❤️
Updated to explain Bumble Foot.. it’s cause from an injury on the pad of the foot.. from walking around.. (small cut.. or poke.. etc..) it then gets irritated.. and builds up a callous and turns into a little kernel and kind of looks like a little wart.. you have to soak their feet and hopefully it raises up and looks kind of like a pimple and you can dig it out and then pack it full of medicine and wrap it up until it clears up ..chickens and ducks get them a lot.. you normally don’t have to worry until they get really big and start irritating them … if she’s limping, it must be bothering her, but she also has a bad foot from an injury when she was a baby.. so that could be bothering her too. It’s hard when they free range in the whole yard and there’s always things laying around. I probably picked up thousands of pieces of glass in that backyard from them foraging through the dirt lol
It’s always something lol I noticed Pickles limping. I scooped her up to find she’s got a couple Bumblefoot spots on her pads so she will have to be soaked in Epson salt and I will have to get those removed. Hopefully, I’ll be able to do it myself and not take her to the vet. ❤️🪿
Starting a new album for the new updated version of what the Rescue is going to look like with the new Cages arriving and wanted to show where your donation money is going. The big cage has arrived along with an amazing other cage that I use for the opossums that a follower surprised me and bought off the wish list has also been dropped off!! so lots of things happening! All of your donations are truly helping the Rescue grow!! ❤️❤️

Ugh I have sooo much to do at the rescue and it just keeps raining off and on.. so I made new feeders for the ducks. Since it rains so much the feed is constantly wet and turns to soup.. so now all the kids have their own self feeders.. rats still help themselves but at least the waste is cut in half from the rain..
next… self waterer buckets everywhere for all the flock and wildlife. Have 2 so far .. but hope to make 2 more.. anyone who has chickens or ducks.. these are amazing!

Taco is back outsideeee .. boyyyy alll the ducks had to let her know what’s up lol.. she also now has Scooter living in her area.. so we will see how that goes, she’s been alone for quite some time.. I added it together a couple little clips since I put her back out there I’ll have to keep an eye on her and make sure she does not regress at all. And I also don’t want her to overdo it considering she’s been sitting in a cat carrier for almost a week. but exciting day! 🪿❤️
Another resident came in today.. this cutie patootie was raised from a baby for the last year or so…and the owner ended up going away to prison..and the mom reached out to a local cat rescue looking for help (he had cats too) she didn’t want to risk taking him somewhere to be put down since he’s basically been a pet all this time. I haven’t really assessed his disposition yet… I don’t even know if it’s a boy or a girl, lol ..they thought it was a boy and named him Possy.. but that reminds me too much of Mr. Possy, so that will not be his name, I just wanted him to get settled in (or maybe her lol) i’m going to guess male because he’s got such a big stubby head. He’s huge like Pudge. Covered in fleas.. and had a not so healthy diet.. so tonight he’s going to stay in the cat carrier until I build him a new big cage outside. He’s enjoying some sardines for dinner and probably has never had that before. ❤️
Look guys!! Gingy’s eggs are hatching!! I was locking up the ducks and heard little chirps!! So far 2 out of 15 eggs! So exciting!! Sorry it’s a shaky video, it’s pitch black out lol ❤️🐣🐣❤️ (none of these eggs are Gingy’s.. my boss sent me fertilized eggs from North Carolina!) 😂
Sooo much to update!! First off! LOOK AT TACO!! She’s up and eating and drinking.. I have been using liquid calcium two times a day and it’s definitely working. I will be moving her back outside tomorrow and see how she does. She really needs to get back into her pool and make sure she is preening her feathers.. it’s very important for them to keep their feathers waterproof.!! ❤️🪿 I am so excited I don’t wanna get overly excited in case she’s still not OK but this is definitely a huge huge improvement! ❤️🪿

Still up.. sooo much work to do for the rescue.. drug most of the branches from the storm out front.. I’ll have to pay to get it all hauled away.. still have soooo much more junk.. I want it all out .. I should just bust all the cages I’m replacing down too .. Anyway all that’s not important ..but I decided to move Pip and Poppy out to a pre-release cage… initially had planned to have another Rehabber take them for pre-release and release …but everyone is overloaded…and they’re just getting so big and miserable in their cage, so I will figure that out later… until then… they get the ginormous cage that coons were in last year. I made all kinds of renovations learning from how it was having raccoons before …they have never had a big pool of water so I’m super excited for them. Sorry it’s so dark, but I will film more later… back to work lol ❤️🦝🦝❤️

This page shows all of my many rescues, All starting right before Hurricane Irma in August with 2017.. with Bonsai.. Then has been continuing with flying squirrels, newborn grey squirrels, and hurt adults of both. Some have medical issues that keeps them from being released... but are all fat, happy, and spoiled.. feel free to poke around the page and leave comments, or ask anything you want...
