Taco is back outsideeee .. boyyyy alll the ducks had to let her know what’s up lol.. she also now has Scooter living in her area.. so we will see how that goes, she’s been alone for quite some time.. I added it together a couple little clips since I put her back out there I’ll have to keep an eye on her and make sure she does not regress at all. And I also don’t want her to overdo it considering she’s been sitting in a cat carrier for almost a week. but exciting day! 🪿❤️

Another resident came in today.. this cutie patootie was raised from a baby for the last year or so…and the owner ended up going away to prison..and the mom reached out to a local cat rescue looking for help (he had cats too) she didn’t want to risk taking him somewhere to be put down since he’s basically been a pet all this time. I haven’t really assessed his disposition yet… I don’t even know if it’s a boy or a girl, lol ..they thought it was a boy and named him Possy.. but that reminds me too much of Mr. Possy, so that will not be his name, I just wanted him to get settled in (or maybe her lol) i’m going to guess male because he’s got such a big stubby head. He’s huge like Pudge. Covered in fleas.. and had a not so healthy diet.. so tonight he’s going to stay in the cat carrier until I build him a new big cage outside. He’s enjoying some sardines for dinner and probably has never had that before. ❤️

Look guys!! Gingy’s eggs are hatching!! I was locking up the ducks and heard little chirps!! So far 2 out of 15 eggs! So exciting!! Sorry it’s a shaky video, it’s pitch black out lol ❤️🐣🐣❤️ (none of these eggs are Gingy’s.. my boss sent me fertilized eggs from North Carolina!) 😂

Sooo much to update!! First off! LOOK AT TACO!! She’s up and eating and drinking.. I have been using liquid calcium two times a day and it’s definitely working. I will be moving her back outside tomorrow and see how she does. She really needs to get back into her pool and make sure she is preening her feathers.. it’s very important for them to keep their feathers waterproof.!! ❤️🪿 I am so excited I don’t wanna get overly excited in case she’s still not OK but this is definitely a huge huge improvement! ❤️🪿

Still up.. sooo much work to do for the rescue.. drug most of the branches from the storm out front.. I’ll have to pay to get it all hauled away.. still have soooo much more junk.. I want it all out .. I should just bust all the cages I’m replacing down too .. Anyway all that’s not important ..but I decided to move Pip and Poppy out to a pre-release cage… initially had planned to have another Rehabber take them for pre-release and release …but everyone is overloaded…and they’re just getting so big and miserable in their cage, so I will figure that out later… until then… they get the ginormous cage that coons were in last year. I made all kinds of renovations learning from how it was having raccoons before …they have never had a big pool of water so I’m super excited for them. Sorry it’s so dark, but I will film more later… back to work lol ❤️🦝🦝❤️
