As many of you know, I ran a charity training dogs for people who needed them. It was great fun for me, but also a LOT of hard work for everyone on the board! Long story short: A good friend of mine went on a vacation 15 years ago and ended up falling in love with the idea of helping orphaned kids in Africa. Jay Rowe is a great guy, and I want to help him and the kids, and I'm sure you all would too.
Over the next few months I'll be asking you all to donate raffle items for one of his signature events (A night at the Southwick Zoo!!) this summer. I'll be looking for gifts, but also SERVICES, because my people are talented, and everyone needs you!! If you're in a service industry (electrical, handyman, plumbing, carpentry, auto detailing, anything at all, really!) please consider donating a few hours of your time for us to raffle off this September. This will certainly gain you LOCAL recognition and maybe new clients, but it will also help a bunch of great little kids who desperately need a hand.
