Happy Friday! 🙂 To finish the week off strong- we'd like to introduce another wonderful addition to the Valet Vet team 🐾🌷
Dr. Carrie Sander was born and raised in northern Wisconsin. After moving to Phoenix, she started working in the veterinary field and now has about 20 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals! She attended veterinary school at Midwestern University in Arizona and received her DVM in 2019. When not working, Dr. Carrie loves anything outdoors, especially when it involves seeing wildlife. She and her husband currently have 3 kitties: Roo (aka Rupert), Baby-gorgeous, and Mr. Papagiorgio. 🧡

Dr. Jennifer, a Chicago native, brings a unique blend of artistic and veterinary expertise to her practice. After earning her BA and MA from New York University, she worked in museum administration, including at The Getty Museum in Los Angeles, before pursuing her passion for animal care by obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University in 2019. Dr. Jennifer is certified in Fear Free Practice and has special interest in acupuncture, geriatric medicine, behavior, and improving access to care. A dedicated mentor, Dr. Jennifer supports Midwestern University's VetCORE group, providing vital veterinary services to pets of people experiencing homelessness. She also volunteers regularly with veterinary outreach programs on the Navajo Nation and has volunteered on Wildlife Conservation Medicine projects from Namibia to Thailand. In her personal life, Dr. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her deaf Sheltie, Finian, and Chihuahua-doodle, Biscuit, as well as practicing yoga, traveling, and hiking. 💜

To bring Veterinary technician appreciation week to a close, we'd like to spotlight 2 ladies that do a lot for our practice! 🫶🤍

Monica has been in the field for 5 years. She currently has two dogs.. & with a toddler & newborn that’s more than enough😂 Fun fact: She's married to her high school sweetheart ❣️ Monica has also become our office manager recently!!!! So exciting! 🎉

Lauren has been in the field 12 years!! She currently has 2 dogs, 5 snakes, 3 spiders, 1 scorpion & a Leachianus Gecko 🦂💚
Fun fact: she just had a baby boy :)🥰

These ladies do it all & we're grateful to have them apart of the team 😸🌻✨

Spotlighting today are 2 gals who we absolutely adore! 🐾⭐

Raeann has been in the field 13 years!! She has 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 1 ball python! Fun fact: She LOVES to read- you will likely find her nose in a book on her days off 📚 Not only is she a technician at heart but she is also our facilities manager! From our mobile unit to the daily tools we use in the field- she helps keep everything running smooth 🔧💭

Feliciana has been in the field 8 years! She currently has 2 cats (yami and kyo) 🐈🐈‍⬛Fun fact: She's a new mom!! 👶 (not being biased- but her kid is CUTE too)

Karah has been in the field for 2 years! She currently has 2 dogs, 2 hamsters, 1 snake, and 6 fish! Fun fact: she's been with her husband for 15 years 👩‍❤️‍👨🐟🐠 Karah is also our client relationship specialist, if you call & she answers, please say hello! :)

Makenna has been in the field for 2 years! She currently has 2 very loud chihuahuas 😆
Fun fact: she's in phlebotomy school! 💉

Gabby has been in the field 3 years! She currently has 4 dogs, 5 cats, & 1 crested gecko. Fun fact: she plays piano 🎼🦎

Vann has been in the field 8 years! She currently has no pets of her own but enjoys feeding the stray cats & wild birds. Fun fact: She's a twin 👯‍♀️🐦

Gina has been in the field for over 30 years. She is one of our certified technicians & client relation specialists! She currently has 2 tortoises, a Lilac Crowned Amazon, 2 cockatiels, a Rainbow Conure, 4 dogs & 1 cat. Fun fact: she love to cook, & tries a new recipe at least once a week. 🍝🐢
