Access Veterinary Care Now with locations in New Albany AND Jeffersonville! Come find out why pets love us!

Access Veterinary Care's mission is improving the well-being of pets and their people by making veterinary care easier and more convenient. We offer a full-service clinic experience with surgery, dentistry, radiographs, lab work, ultrasound and more. Specific services we offer include:

- Preventative health care: Annual or semi-annual physicals, with screening tests and vaccinations as indicated,

are essential to keep pets healthy and identify problems early.

- Diagnosis and treatment of non-critical disease: The majority of common pet health problems, from allergies to ear infections, can be diagnosed and addressed on-site.

- Management of chronic conditions: Following diagnosis, we will help support you and your pet in the ongoing treatment of diseases such as arthritis, hypertension, and diabetes.

- Telemedicine: An initial exam is always required to get to know your pet, but many follow-up or non-urgent consultations can be conducted through video or phone communication if requested.

- End-of-life care and euthanasia: It is never easy to say goodbye to our companions. We strive to make this difficult time less stressful for both people and pets.

Happy Holidays!

Friendly midweek reminder that our Jeffersonville office will be open from 9am-12:30pm on December 23rd for food and medication pick up ONLY, our New Albany office will be open with normal business hours.

We will then be CLOSED at both offices from December 24th-25th, and reopen at our normal business hours on Thursday, December 26th. Please don't wait if you are needing to have your pet seen for an appointment or a refill of their medication, as we may not be able to accommodate last minute requests!

Gratitude is a good thing.

I'm grateful for all the staff, clients, and pets who've made AVC more than just another clinic for the last 10 years. That's right, this December will mark ten years since we hung the proverbial shingle. I am profoundly honored that so many people and pets have put their trust in us - it's hard to believe how many folks have been in it with us for nearly a decade. And I feel privileged I've gotten the opportunity to work with so many great team members, current and past. It's frankly a little overwhelming to think about.
