UPDATE: THE FINDER CONTACTED THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. LOLA IS PENDING A REUNION WITH HER FAMILY! THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS POST!
MISSING PUPPY IN CENTRAL FALLS!
A young girl and her mother just came into the police department to report that their (7) month old puppy got out of their yard. They were told by multiple neighbors that two older females picked up the puppy and said that they were bringing her to the police department, which never happened. There is no description of the females but cameras in the area are going to be checked. The woman were said to be on foot at the time of the incident.
This incident occured sometime around 10:45am, on the 200 block of Rand Street in Central Falls.
If anyone has any information on who may have this puppy, please call #401-616-2561!

We have three renowned figures in this photo, from left to right: Trigger, Dexter, and Slim!
When I started, everyone else with K9’s called themselves Pet Detectives. I actually was a licensed private detective, and I still decided not to use the term. Instead, I preferred to call it what it was: Pet Tracking, so we included that in the name. Almost immediately, people started calling us Pet Trackers. It didn’t take long for the competition to catch on and start referring to themselves as pet trackers, which was always confusing to people seeing as how they don’t offer tracking. To me, the K9 will always be what the “tracker” part of “PetTracker” stands for." Let us know what you think in the comments!
FINAL UPDATE: REUNITED WITH THE OWNER! THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE SHARED THIS POST!
UPDATE: CONFIRMED TO NOT BE THE SAME DOG FROM LINCOLN THAT IS MISSING!
FOUND DOG IN CENTRAL FALLS!
I have very limited information because I am not on shift today. This dog was said to be found in Central Falls just now and was transported over to the Pawtucket Animal Shelter by the finder. There was a dog just posted out of Lincoln missing that looks like it may be a match. Hard to confirm by the photo. I'm hoping that dog's family will see this post.
Contact the Pawtucket Animal Shelter if this is your dog. #401-722-4243!

Here are 7 reasons why making a walk up find is not as easy as following the dog. It’s often a team effort that requires a high level of training and experience on both ends of the leash.

With temps reaching into the 90s over the next few days we are shutting down K9 searches until later in the week. It’s a great time to book a consult! Stay cool everyone!
This photograph is from weeks ago. Observant individuals will notice that the K9 teeth are emerging and displacing the other two K9 teeth. During this period, it is advisable to refrain from any form of fetch to avoid any sharp pain that may instill a negative fetch attitude in the long run. Additionally, this is a reason why young dogs chew. Solo found solace in ice cubes.
Pro Tip: When you know where your lost dog is, tell no one until they are back in your arms again
Welcome home Crystal! Congratulations Carl!!I’m sure you will both sleep well tonight! 😅

I’m hearing chatter about people using psychics to find their missing pets. Would you use one? Who would you use? Let us know in the comments!
Someone asked a great question… “Do you need to train the search dogs to work around the drone” The answer is yes if you are going to be taking off and landing in close proximity. Also one might be called in during the search and fly over head. This will most likely catch the dogs attention and be difficult to get them back on task if they have never experienced it before. They should be trained around drones just like any other distraction a search dog might encounter during a search. Our training around drones goes all the way back to the Trigger days when DJI first introduced the 4 prop UAS. I did most of the training just by introducing it during the training sessions and keeping it fun. Stay safe out there everyone!
