Hi everyone,
I will be unavailable from the 12th to the 15th. Solo has completed his basic training and will begin trailing next month. In February, we will again have open training days like we did with Slim. Come out and meet Dexter!
Also, we've received numerous inquiries about ride-alongs. Typically, I prefer not to conduct them, as I don't like showing up at a search with a camera crew. However, we will be doing free searches with Solo, just like we did with Trigger, Dexter, and Slim after their training. This will be your opportunity for a ride-along. Last time, we went 3 for 3 with a camera crew, which led to some amazing footage.
Stay safe everyone I hope to see you out there in 2025!
Ever wondered what your scent looks like? This blue smoke represents the invisible trail you leave behind.
This will be a long road and they need all the help they can get. Follow the hurricane relief pages if you are still looking
Last evening we watched blue smoke travel through the forest and out over the lake. Today we searched for a new scent, got full of mud, and ate some yummy snacks. What will tomorrow bring? Life of a search dog! #Solo #SlimShady
Is a 72-hour period long enough when shelters neglect to scan for microchips? How many families suffer the sorrow of losing their cherished pets while on vacation? This is typically when pets go missing, and by the time you return, your pet may be gone forever, on a transport, or already adopted out. We need change

The thoroughness of any search is almost always dependent on the skills of the search dog leading it. #k9
What is a “PetTracker”
When I started, everyone else with K9’s called themselves Pet Detectives. I actually was a licensed private detective, and I still decided not to use the term. Instead, I preferred to call it what it was: Pet Tracking, so we included that in the name. Almost immediately, people started calling us Pet Trackers. It didn’t take long for the competition to catch on and start referring to themselves as pet trackers, which was always confusing to people seeing as how they don’t offer tracking. To me, the K9 will always be what the “tracker” part of “PetTracker” stands for." Let us know what you think in the comments! #pettracker
